Sheik let out a tiny sigh of relief. He realized he needed to get her warm, but there was no way he could get her back up the cliff at this point. He pricked his ears, and looked around. He winced. That strong, painful smell was even stronger now, and he had no clue what it was...it smelt...unnatural.

The second thing that hit Luhua, an unatural scent. "Sheik...." Coughing loudly, the female licked her mouth. "What is that?" she whispered, ears flattening slightly as her nose twitched, the scent bothering her.

"im not sure, Luhua..." He suddenly froze, hearing footsteps crunching through the snow, behind trees. Was...was there only two feet hitting the ground? Not used to this, he crouched as far down as he could into the snow, watching the trees.

(Chu wanna each play one of the poachers? Presuming that's what they are. xD)

Luhua whimpered, curling up into a ball at the sound of snow crunching. The sound was familiar to her, and they sounded like what had taken her father's life. The footsteps weren't light, like a Leopards. "Humans." she said, desperatly trying to get to her paws, falling back down with a silenced yowl.

Sheik put a paw on her side, forcing her to stay down. "Shh." He quickly nosed snow onto her, until she was covered. Not too much, only enough to hide her. "Stay still" He breathed, crouching down quickly as two poachers walked out from the trees.

The female poacher nudged the other one with her elbow, looking at the large Amur Leopard fairly close to them. "Look." she hissed, fingers curling around the hunting rifle near her side.

Luhua shivered, wanting to get out there to help. The snow fell into every part of her body, eyes, nose, everywhere, and it wasn't pleasant. At all.

The male poacher felt a smile spread on his face "What a beaut." He slowly pulled out his rifle. "Oughta make a few off of dis one." He whispered.

Sheik felt kinda bad for covering her like that, but he wanted her safe. He casusally flicked his tail, making a hole for her nose, but she herself couldnt be seen. He pricked his ears, staring at the humans who came from the trees. They looked weak..

The female nodded, smiling. "We ought to get closer." she suggested, looking at the male Leopard. He seemed too defensive, and he wasn't trying to escape, like most of the Lepards did.

Luhua blew the snow from her nose, covering a sneeze. She could hear the poachers, and swallowed a hiss. "Sheik, get out of there." she whispered. "Just bury me, and come back when they leave."

Sheik shook his head "No, what if they find you?" He snarled at the poachers, claws digging into the ground. He didnt know how bad of threats humans were, he had never seen them before in his life. They looked extremely weak, and he snarled again, tail lashing.

The male poacher scoffed. "Dis one gets any closer, and we can kill it with the shoulders of our guns" He joked, aiming his gun.

The female poacher growled, litterally. "Shut up. I have a loaded gun." Aiming it towards the large male, flicking off the safety, her index finger moving to the trigger.

Luhua didn't care, and she hauled herself painfully to her paws. "Look, they found me. Now go. They'll kill you, Sheik. Those metal tubes hold some thing that kills us." she growled, eyes shifting to the humans, her tail lashing.
