North dragged a bit of meat to his spot. he sat beside Sunset, gnawing at it, and smiling to himself. He finished later, licking his lips and licking his paw. It was soaked in blood. Any other blood and he would just have a mall bath but this was his favourite; Venison! The meat was so delicious, he couldn't help himself.

Jazz immediately jumped to her feet, eyes wide with panic. Then she saw it was Cloud, and her fur stopped bristling, and she started to calm down. "Oh, hi. Sorry for freaking out." She said ashamed, laying down and putting a paw over her face.

Cloud gave a nervous laugh. "It's alright." He sat down beside her, grooming his side. He looked up and smiled. "How'd you sleep? First nights can be a little hard."

"I--I slept alright. I guess." She said, lifting her paw off her face. "Thank you for brining me in here, it was really wet and cold out there."

Blur paced on her heat rock flicking her tail crossly. Her cub, Streak, came bounding over to her, "Hi mommy!" She squeaked. Blur smiled, "Hello hon." She purred. Streak grinned, "Will you play chase with me? The other lion cubs and leaoprd cubs won't even come near me." She mewed flattening her ears. Blur's amber eyes glistened in the half light, "Of course." She nudged her daughter, "But your it!" She raced away and Streak pelted after her.

"I dropped out of school last year because I felt like I didn't need to go to school anymore." Hannah replied

Jack frowned a little as Hannah mentioned that she dropped out of school. Usually he did not do this but he did have experience with drop outs before. Some went back to school after working at a place like this, because they find it something exciting to do. The man cleared his throat, "Well you are not the first to come here looking for a job. I will hire you. But. Just be aware that if you want to go higher up the ladder that you will have to go back to school."

Blur raced away from her cub. Streak panted and kept sprinting after her. Blur circled around the heat rocks in the center of the cheetah enclosure to confuse Streak. Streak giggled and sprang at her mother, Blur fell over toppled by Streak's weight. Streak laughed and nussled her mother, Blur purred back and shook her gentally off. Streak fell onto her belly, but imediantly got back on her paws. Blur padded over to the heat rocks panting and lay her head on her paws dosing off into sleep. Streak looked at her mother, "She must be tired." She mewed and bounded over to the metal fence that seperated her from the wolf enclosure. Streak poked her head through the bars and looked at the wolves, "Hello!" She squeaked cheerfully.

Hannah sighed, nodding slightly. She understood that she might have to go back to school eventually if she wanted a higher position. "Alright, thanks."
Zoey turned, hearing a voice behind her, to see a cheetah behind her. Zoey jumped back in surprise, almost running into Shadow, who was still 'flirting' with her. Honestly, she didn't know what Blaze and Shadow found so interesting about her. Boys are weird. "Umm.. hello." Zoey said to the cheetah

Streak smiled, "Hello! Aren't you going to walk away like everyone else?" She asked.

Hannah sighed, nodding slightly. She understood that she might have to go back to school eventually if she wanted a higher position. "Alright, thanks."

Reaching into the desk that was next to him he pulled out an extra set of keys and handed them to her, "Well it is the summer so just focus on your job. I'm placing you in charge of the Elephants, Big Cats and the Birds of Prey. You're welcome." He then looked to the clock, "It is an hour before break time so that should give you plenty of time to feed the Big Cats at least. I'll show you to where you will be working though." He looked out the window to the elephants, "Although those elephants you already know where they are."

Hannah smiled, looking out the window towards the elephant enclosure. "Thanks so much!" Hannah exclaimed, holding the keys he had handed her
Zoey nervously kept her focus on the cheetah "Umm, no, do you want me to?" Zoey asked, taking a step back then turned when she heard pawsteps behind her. Of course, it was Blaze. "What do you want now?!?" Zoey asked as Blaze approached, her ears pinned back "Nothing, I just wanna see what your up to." Blaze answered, smirking

Streak twitched her ears, "No.. it's just that everybody does, nobody likes me, I just want to be friends.." She mewed.

Blur lay sprawled across the heat rocks asleep.
