Tarkan stretched his muzzle out to calm her before nuzzling her and grooming her in return, quite content about it for he enjoyed being groomed, it was a nice feeling, the rare few horses disliked being groomed, Ears pulled forwards, he swishded his tail pulling out the few bits of grass and leaves from the mares mane and coat.

Illusion watched as the bay arabian looked up at him, she was very pretty. "Alright, well, nice to meet you Soul." He gently nosed her shoulder, his ears perked. As she swished her scented tail, it caught his nostrils and full senses. He gently snorted, pushing the thought to the back of his mind for now. As she spoke, he snorted lightly, "Hah, well yes it is. But, they are lovely mares." He was glad that he had met a mare that could tease around a bit and not so serious. He glanced around, seeing that she had not stallion close he would just ask, "So, would you like to join my "herd"?" He smiled gently, awaiting her answer.

Sparks scouted the herd quietly. Her blood was still pumping through her viens heavily from her battle. The sabino shook her head as sounds of panicking horses rang out and reached her ears. They sounded as if they were coming closer. Her ears pricked up and swiveled in each direction, attemting to pin point the exact location. The wind changed paths and a strong scent hit her nostrils. Yes, they were horses, lots actually. But, these creatures were with what she presumed was a small band. The smell was strange and yet in a part of her mind that she had long forgotten, she knew the smell. She took another wiff, followed by three more. Humans She was reminded of the familiar scent as if she had been hit by a train.

Stressed, the lead mare scamped out from under the tree she had been grazing under and neighed to Ace. Something was wrong and she knew she had to move the herd, now. With pinned ears, she circled to the front and started a quick trot. She hoped they wouldn't get caught by any humans. Her instincts were telling her to run but she had learnt from experience that a paniced herd, galloping at full speed, was a true disaster. The sabino twisted to stared blankly at the area behind them. She had been right, humans on horse back were attacking a small band of three. Snorting she ignored the rising threat and continued on.

Faith nuzzled Tidal affectionately, happy that he was back and that he was safe. The wounds that were on his legs didn't seem like they would he life threatening though the bay did wonder where they came from. Whatever went after him, she knew that Tidal did well with driving whatever had come by away. Faith's last foal was snatched up but a cougar last year and she would have been devastated if the same had happened to Sebastian, but their stallion would keep them safe. Sebastian gave his father a small when he greeted him and he reached out to gently nip at the larger stallion. He admired his father, and he hoped that he would become as strong and brave as Tidal was when he was older. Eevee came by and was now standing beside Sebastian and Faith chuckled lightly at the filly. Eevee seemed to always be full of energy and like Sebastian, she was happy to see her father. When Mew came to Faith's side, the young mare gave her a small smile before turning her attention back to Tidal, who was now teaching the two foals. Sebastian listened intently to what Tidal had to say, so those were what the wolves came from...and the colt knew now to keep moving if he came in contact with a wolf or the canine would be able get to him, Sebastian had however never seen a wolf before so he had no idea what they looked like. Faith pricked her ears when Tidal spoke to her and Mew and she frowned slightly as she tried to remember if she had seen or scented anything. She had been resting earlier but nothing odd or threatening had come by. "I don't think so...did you see anything, Mew?" She asked, looking to the pretty black mare beside her.

Thunder laid in the grass, his ears flattened against his head as he panted heavil. He was exhausted from all the fighting and he just couldn't get away from the humans, they were too strong. The rope around his foreleg was removed and instead a third rope was put around his neck but they allowed him to lie and rest for now. There were still two wranglers heading after Blue and there were two hanging onto Thunder's rope but there were others in their group. The wranglers looked around careful, hoping that they would find more horses they could capture and bring back to their ranch. Finally, they spotted a group of horses. In the distance was a herd, there was a stallion and some mares as well as foals. After some talking, the men urged their horses and began to head towards the other herd, lassos in hand.

Asuna was relaxed and simply grooming Ace, though when Sparks came by and told them that something was wrong, she pinned her ears. Looking around quickly, she spotted a group of wranglers. One horse had already been caught and two were heading after a dapple mare, but now some were heading towards them. Asuna had no idea what humans were, she found it strange that horses would allow them on their backs , but by how Sparks was acting she knew they were dangerous. She moved quickly to were her two fillies were and she nipped gently at Olivia andVenus, telling them to move. The two chestnuts got up quickly, they were confused to what was going on but they didn't try fighting against their mother. Asuna began to move quickly after Sparks, making sure that her fillies either stayed in front of her or by her side as they moved.

Page had returned a few days back, she had lost this years foal, it was bound to happen once, not ever foal survived. Ears flicking the 9 year old looked around keeping an eye on the herd before swishing her tail and grazing silently, watching her herd from the small hill she stood upon. Pride was busy introducing himself ot his foals, this was not something to worry about, every stallion deserved a time to just relax, leave their lead mare to look over the herd for a while, lead mares were loyal to their stallions and would let him know shall he need to protect the herd from a stallion or predators.

"Hmm" She murmured softly, swishing her tail to tease him before speaking "Well I can't seem to find a reason to decline such a stallion, so yes" She smiled briefly lipping his nose before smirking gently, tease in her eyes as she walked past him swishing her strongly scented tail against his face as she moved towards his mares.

Ace had been with his mares for a while, they were fairly calm considering what happend, Sparks seemed the most stressed which was a problem because she was lead, if she was stressed then she was going to upset the rest of the herd, he trotted up to her biting her flank telling her to get a grip or back off and step down from lead and give it back to his previous lead. He then circled back and charged at his herd ears pinned he lowered his head and began to snake them towards the forest.

Phantom grazed quietly, he then shook out his mane and looked around. The clydey x Shire stallion looked around before spotting a herd. (can be any herd, just stirring up drama) the large male smirked briefly and slowly walked his way down to the mares ignoring the stallion.

She relaxed even more as he groomed her, feeling content and safe in his herd. She nickered softly, happily, and lipped his mane, grooming the dirt and debris from it.

Asuna was somewhat calm though the chestnut was starting to panic, what we're those strange things and why we're they on horses? She didn't know, but they scared her and they couldn't be good. She urged her to fillies forward, not wanting her fillies to get hurt or captured. Venus was just a bit confused to what was going on but Olivia, who was easily spooked, was scared. There were only two wranglers, but they were gaining on the herd. Asuna kept charging forward, heading towards the forest, if they got in the forest it was unlikely they would be followed. The wranglers just came closer and closer, and finally once they were close enough, one of them threw their lasso towards one of the horses(can be anyone), hoping they wouldn't miss and would be able to catch another horse.

Whisper nibbled the grass again. She then started to pace around in restlessness and her nostrils were flaring. She looked over at Pride. Her time to foal was drawing nearer by the day.

Dakota looked up from her grazing at Illusion and Soul. The buckskin mare nickered a greeting to her before lowering her hair and grazing again. She took a few steps forward to another patch of grass.

As a rope hit his neck he bucked out violently and screeched calling out to asuna knowing she was worried, he wanted her calm despite he had a rope on him now. He called to Sparks making sure she kept going, letting his herd know he'd catch up and he wanted sparks to hide the mares and foals. Ears pinned he turned his focus to one of the humans whom roped the rope around the horn of the western saddle, the quarter horse that was ridden was no match for the 17 + hand frisan stallion, rearing up and yanking back he managed to pull the young gelding off his feet , sending him to the ground, this of course caused hte rope to tighten and he knelt to the ground yanking back hard as the rope remained over his neck. Another over his neck seeing the horse on the ground was not galloping off dragging his rider, the other rider had the rope over his neck. Ace pinned his ears and reared up striking the air viontly, one ear back wanting the herd in the forrest.

Hearing something, Asuna flicked an ear back and was not happy to see that Ace had been captured,he was fighting against the humans but there were now ropes around her neck. Asuna didn't know what to do, her band stallion was telling her to keep going but she didn't just want to leave him. She kept going however, urging her two fillies forward. The forest was coming closer, and closer, and finally they were in. The chestnut mare had slowed slightly but she kept moving forward, carefully making her way around the trees.

Thunder had finally stood up and the young stallion shook out his mane. He had several ropes around his neck and the two wranglers who held onto them had a firm grip. He was tired and was still panting lightly and was even knocked off his feet but he didn't want to give up just yet. He sent the two humans a glare, and hearing noise he looked to the side, seeing a large black stallion fighting against two of the wranglers. He snorted and looked back to the humans who held his ropes and he pinned his ears at them. He had no idea where Kiona was, Blue was being chased and he had been captured, but he was going to try to break free. The young stallion shook his head and began to take several steps back before rearing up and pulling hard on the ropes, his teeth bared as he pulled and tried to free himself.

Sparks pushed the herd on. With Ace caught, she now had to lead the herd to safety. With a loud neigh she herded the mares and foals into the forest. Weaving through the trees was a good way to trick them but she knew that the humans were relentless and were now spuring their horses onward. She opened up into a speeding gallop. She hoped, and prayed, that the foals would be able to keep up. The sabino swerved to the left and then to the right.

Suddenly, a plan struck her head. If they hid in the forest, the humans would ride right by them. She snorted to the others. Once finished she dove into a overgrown bush. She laid down quickly and lowered her head. Two sets of four hooves thundered past and she knew from then on, they just might not become tamed today.
