Border Lines - Not Accepting

Dusk's amber eyes widened at the sudden appearance of Vesper, ears going back a bit till he saw the goose in her jaws. He got to his feet and wove past Polarus to meet her at the entrance. "It's ok." He said with a soft smile and he gave her a nod. "Where'd you get the goose?"

[growl]

"Oh, Sauver and Mekah forgot it out in the forest and I asked if I could give it to you since they weren't going to eat it," Vesper explained. "If you don't want it then I could take it to your brother instead. I'm not really hungry myself."

Dusk shook his head. "No, no. It's fine. Brechen most likely already caught something by now." He said gratefully before taking on a serious expression. "By the way...how long have you been outside?"

[growl]

Vesper frowned at her paws. "Well I was walking in and I heard you talking to Polarus about something," she admitted, flicking her tail at the white brute. "But don't worry I didn't hear enough to actually understand anything." Except that some wolves in this pack aren't ready yet... whatever that meant.

Bronte perked her ears. She twitched slightly before walking back to camp, wondering what all the wolves were doing. Their pack wasnt really a pack anyways, they just did their own things and fought battles with each other. Bronte padded back into camp, carrying a raccoon that had ran across her feet. She dropped it for anyone to eat and sniffed around.

Howler scented the air before going to hunt. He smelled a lot of tiny prey getting ready for winter. Howler howled before going ater some squirrels.

Vesper frowned at her paws. "Well I was walking in and I heard you talking to Polarus about something," she admitted, flicking her tail at the white brute. "But don't worry I didn't hear enough to actually understand anything." Except that some wolves in this pack aren't ready yet... whatever that meant.

Dusk looked at her quizzically for a moment, eyes narrowed before a small smile lit up his face. "Ok." He said and stood up, giving her a gentle nudge to signal her out of the den. He looked outside of it for a moment, eyes narrowing at once to which he swung his head back at Vesper. "Where's Bronte?"

Brechen, his stomach satisfied, trotted to the dens where everyone seemed to be congregating. He could smell Dusk inside his den, so he walked inside and sat down.

"Brechen, your the new beta." Dusk said, not even giving him a glance before turning his head towards Polarus. "Your excused." And he grabbed the goose by it's neck and walked out of his den.

Brechen's eyes widened and his tongue lolled out, his shoulders drooped and his tail went stiff. It took him a moment to gain back his voice, but he finally was able to bawl out, "WHAT?!!!!!!"

Dusk snickered to himself, being able to hear Brechen's outburst from the other side of camp. The greyish brute lay down and started to eat his meal, tail wagging slightly.
