"What's the catch?" Zephyr asked herself. They had been separate for so long that it felt like such a trick to entertain the idea of the two being one.

"No catch." Then he grinned. "But I'm your alpha. Maybe a little catch, then. You don't need Stem and Twig. They will be the new omegas."

Atlas drew himself to his full height. "Who will be your Beta? And how do we know you won't turn on us?" He asked growling. He wanted to protect what was his at all costs.

//Can Atlas be beta? Maybe?

"I have spent 100 years waiting for this day. I was wrong. Wolf Hill should never have split. I'll admit I was wrong about that. The ones who are most loyal will be in the higher ranks. Prove yourself, and you will be rewarded."

Atlas' growl deepened, "And how do we prove ourselves loyal?" He asked, ears flat. He didn't want Twig, or Stem, or anyone hurt. "I have a proposition." Atlas said.

"I will hear you out. I am a fair wolf."
He grinned to himself. Sometimes.

"I will pledge my full loyalty to you... If you do not hurt anyone. Everyone must be treated, with the respect that they deserve. I would like you word, Swear it on all you hold dear." Atlas said cooly. He looked back at Zephyr, allowing himself to show a little fear. Then he whispered to her. "Is this the right thing to do? I don't know, but I don;t want to loose anyone. You, Raycon, the other wolves. I just can't"

"As long as you are loyal, the wolves of Wolf Hill will be treated respectfully." Crystal Shadow said clearly.

"Do what you feel is right Atlas. I'll always have your back, and if you feel like anything is off let someone know. It's better we keep track of that stuff. All we have is our instinct and our pride," Zephyr assured him, trying to assure herself as well.
