"Heh, you mean Sandra? Yeah, I don't really know what's been up with her lately. See this pup washed up on shore with us and she went all mega-mom on it. The pup's name is Angel. She can be a bit of a nuisance. Actually, she's a nuisance a lot of the time..." Abi trailed off for a second, then continued her story. "Anyways, so Sandra gets attacked by a big jungle cat, and I tried to help but, heh... Guess I'm a little rusty on my fighting skills. So Punk," Abi motioned to the dog they were dragging, "saved us both. After that the pup started calling him 'Daddy,' which Sandra was not happy about." Abi shook her head. "Sandra got all super jealous of their 'bond' because she wanted Angel all to herself..." The shepherd lowered her voice to a whisper before continuing, "But just between you and I, he's not a fan of being a daddy to her." With a giggle she returned to her normal tone. "So now, Sandra hates me and hates Punk too, but she hates him more. It's like, just a while ago Punk and I were nearly drowning. And even though she says she's still my friend, she didn't even thank him for saving my life."
Sighing, Abi shook her head. "Well, it's nice to get a break from the drama and be able to just talk to someone. I'm Abi. And oh, thanks for the help with this big lug," she said, motioning again at Punk. Looking around, Abi couldn't see the cave, but the familiar rocky ground told her they were getting closer. "C'mon, we're almost there." Before the two got within earshot of Sandra, Abi made sure to throw one more thing in, whispering. "Oh, and could you not mention any of the sarcastic parts to Sandra?" the shepherd asked with a wink.
