OOC: The thread was locked, so not to worry! Also @Mochi: Cole is a male
OOC2: Yeah, I’ve messaged Alpaca now and have not received a response, so as RPer owner, I say we continue without her for now, and help her jump back in when she’s ready.

TREY | Pup | F-Pack | Tagging: Peeta, Kinkajou, Roland | Location: Camp
"Wellllll then say something someday soon, before she decides once and for all she wants to be mates with Frost!" Trey reached up to gently lick Peeta's cheek. "I’m gonna go to sleep now, Arian's coming over, and she looks MAD..." He stole a glance towards the small mottled she-wolf, who had worry and fury burning in her amber eyes, even in the walk she stalked over towards the small group.
SIRA | Hunter | F-Pack | Tagging: Feluris | Location: Camp
Sira smiled tensely at this. She may not have had a ton of social skills in comparison to some wolves even within her own Pack, but as a liar herself- and proud- she knew how to tell a lie. She also knew when someone lied about something small, there was usually good reason behind it, and she did not wish to tempt fate. So for the time being, she just left it, dipping her head to the Warrior Trainee.
"And what has come of your training? I hear Mattias and Athena's Pups have arrived today, so I know he’s been busy the past couple of days preparing for that." It must be hard, the Huntress reflected, having a trainer who has to suddenly split focus, but it happened.
CODY | Den Mother | L-Pack | Tagging: Cole, Pups | Location: Camp
Cody looked down at her sleeping Pups, feeling bad. She had allowed Sandpiper to name her daughter, but neither of her sons yet had names. She had hoped her mate would’ve come by at some point. She had EXPECTED he would. He’d always been attentive to her...until the day their Pups were born. Perhaps with the Meet and all though, he was busy. Shadow had said she was taking him, but his scent was still prominent, and growing stronger. Peering outside, Cody saw the large brown and black Beta, and a smile came to her face. She slipped out of the nursery, just for a moment, calling out softly to the Beta as not to wake the sleeping Pups.
"Cole! Our sons and daughter have been born. Come meet them!" The light brown she-wolf urged him, her bluish green eyes lighting up as she spoke.
MATTIAS | Warrior | F-Pack | Tagging: Athena, Pups | Location: Nursery
"I know." Mattias could see it in Athena's eyes. Was she afraid when he left he wouldn’t return for a long time? No. That wouldn’t happen. He would leave to do his duties, as was commanded, then he would return at once. He would sleep next to her if the other wolves of the nursery and the Alpha allowed it. He had not known of a male sleeping regularly in the nursery after he had become a Trainee though.
"I wish for that too. We both know that isn’t how it works. You have the nurse the Pups, and I have to do work here to earn our keep, but I hope they’ll allow me to lay next to you at night here, if you so wish it," Mattias added after a long moment, his voice soft and quiet.
ENNA | Warrior | L-Pack | Tagging: Angel | Location: Camp
Enna considered that though. A single relationship seemed complicated enough though. She had seen what had happened with Mick and Blizzard, who kept falling apart, again and again! Then to add another wolf doubled that, and if more and more wolves were added, it only increased the challenges, but it was a nice thought. Hard to fathom to the golden Warrior, who had never once had a romance of her own, however. She barely had friends, much less a relationship! So the question had quite caught her off-guard, but she just dipped her head as the white-grey wolf excused himself to go speak with the worried Riley. She had dodged answering a rather awkward question, which was good, as she hadn’t been sure whether he had been joking or if he was actually being serious.
Enna fixed her blue eyes ahead and watched from where she sat as Angel approached Riley in inquire who was the father of her newborn Pups. Oh no...she’s gonna start crying again... Enna rose to her feet again and quickly retreated towards the prey pile as to no longer eavesdrop. She had not been asked to join them, and it seemed a private enough conversation, so she would leave them to it.
KARTER | Warrior | L-Pack | Tagging: Three-Foot, Storm | Location: Border
"I ACCUSE because I KNOW," Karter snapped back. He was breathing heavily now, crouching down, every muscle tensed. He’d hoped to slip past a guard, see if he could find June's scent, check on Storm if she wasn’t at the Meet, and be gone before the wolves got back home. By now, no doubt Ash had already noticed his absence, since he had been left in charge of the camp in the Alpha's absence.
Karter's pale gaze shifted towards the wolf who had saved him from being choked. He himself was a Warrior, but he wasn’t built for strength. It was dark to see properly in the darkness, but that voice, that scent, and that grey pelt...was his luck really that good? "Storm?" He asked.
His heart twisted when he saw her. He’d spoken to Aala before, the first wolf he had ever told about his feelings for Storm, when he and Aala were first considering taking their relationship beyond just idle flirting, and she’d tried to soothe his nerves. He’d become mates with her a month later, and now they had a family. He convinced himself day in, day out, that Aala was the only one. That he was over Storm. She was in another Pack and had left willingly. When he’d offered to come with, she said she needed to find her sister on her own, and see if she could bring her home. He thought that was all over, and he would one day look upon her again and see only his best friend, not the first wolf he’d ever loved. But when his eyes fell upon her, seeing her lithe form, the gleam in her eyes, hearing her voice, even as she growled at him, a lump formed in his throat, his heart seemed to stop for a moment, and for a long moment, it felt as if he couldn’t breathe.
That fire. That willingness to do whatever she needed to for her own goals, her being her own wolf, not conforming to anyone else's standards...it was why he had loved her in the first place. Although time and distance had separated them, clearly, she had not lost that. Yet here he was, staring at the first wolf he’d ever loved, and if and when she asked his business there, he would have the INCREDIBLY awkward task of explaining he was here for his daughter. Not that he expected Storm had ever loved him. They’d been close just as best friends! Of course, what Aala said...Leo and Sandpiper were too, and EVERYONE is pretty sure they’ll be mates someday.
"I didn’t come here to cause trouble. I came here to do what I promised Aala I would." His eyes turned again on his friend. "Storm... I..." Karter's voice trailed off, and he wasn’t sure whether to flee while he could to avoid an awkward situation, and try again later, or when to come forward and greet her properly, so he just stood there for the longest time, debating this, which didn’t really get him anywhere.
SHADOW | Alpha | L-Pack | Tagging: Meet Wolves | Location: Meet Hollow
Shadow lifted her head to address the crowd once Toby's Tales had ended. "With the trading and storytelling parts of this Meet completed, I declare it is time for the games! Any wolf, of ANY rank, who wishes to partake in the sparring section of the night, come and join me. If we have enough volunteers, we shall have a tournament, that will consist of a round of ten minutes, and will be observed by Hunter Toby." She looked to Toby, who nodded in agreement. As a Hunter and as a wolf of peace, he had no wish to join in the fights.
Shadow lightly stepped into the center of the clearing, watching the gathered wolves. It’d be tough, pairing up matches, she reckoned. She wanted to try as well, but last time, she’d only fought against Ash, undoubtedly the most skillful Warrior of the lot of hers, and they had to call it a draw back then. It would be unfair for her to be paired one-on-one with anyone else. She suspected being both swift and strong, on top of her massive build by any standards, she would be able to overpower almost any wolf, and undoubtedly she would outdo any of the younger ones unless she went easy on someone, which was not something she particularly liked to do. Even in training, she had worked her Trainees as hard as she could. Going easy on someone was not the way Lina, her own trainer, had taught her.
ARIAN | Lead Warrior | F-Pack | Tagging: Peeta | Location: Camp
Arian has caught Roland's scent, but his pelt was dark, like his father's, and he had always been a relatively quiet Pup. It was hard to see him in the darkness, but his scent had been over here. When asked what was wrong, Arian took a deep breath and tried to keep her voice from shaking. She was the Lead Warrior. She had been carefully taught as a Trainee that fear was for the weak. The strongest wolves may feel fear, but never should they show it. That had been the teachings of her trainer, and she was no mere Warrior now.
"My youngest son, Roland, is missing," She declared, fixing her amber eyes on the Warrior Trainee. "You...You wouldn’t happen to know where he got himself off to, do you? I saw Trey head for the nursery, and as always, I expected they’d be together, but they... they were not."
