Tagged Open.

Northe didn't quite know what to do nor who to visit, so he decided on just taking a little walk around the camp, hoping to run into somebody that he knew, or someone to talk with. He looked around, padding his way around before pausing, lifting his head up when he got a scent, but as quickly as it came, it faded. He let out a sigh, continuing his short walk as his paws thudded against the ground, his ears flickering while he listened, keeping himself on guard. Northe wondered what the King was up to, and surprisingly, he wondered why he didn't have a Queen already. The brute shrugged off the thought, not liking the idea of mates much, but he did long to have some pups in the future. he continued to walk for a short while, stopping only to lap at some water from a stream, his white fur glistening while his amber eyes searched around in a slight glare.

Watching with narrowed eyes as the Beta walked away, the dark furred male turned to two of his packmates; Haunt and Renn. Obviously word had got around about the young orphaned pup, Kesi.. as he believed Ghost had called it.. With a roll of his eyes, the King regained his composure. His pale green eyes fixated on the two wolves, Kodix finally spoke. "You two may go on a border patrol if you please," He muttered, barely even acknowledging the two subordinates' presence. His question came out more of a demand, considering that most wolves wouldn't dare to question his orders. "I'd be wise to keep a watch on the Vigilance mutts." The male stated out loud to himself. Patrols weren't sent out yet, which was rather foolish of Sorita.. Neither were his.. I suppose I'm 'lucky' on that part, He thought with a snort. "Go gather some others and we'll head out." He declared, his muscles rippling beneath his dark grey pelt as he walked away.

Watching as the medic excused herself, Sorita lightly dipped her head. Three new scents drifted in the air, as her head spun to meet Daemon, Maya and Laika. Her dark brown eyes glittering in the light, they lingered on each individual wolf. A soft smile on her face, she began to speak. "Greetings." The female said. "I assume all's going well with your expecting pups, Laika? I'm sure they'll be beautiful." She added, lightly shaking out her light grey and white pelt. Her eyes skirting towards Daemon, she continued on. "I suppose I should send out border patrols and hunting patrols soon, but you can feel free to take a break and relax. Perhaps even get something out of the freshkill pile." She said, lightly chuckling. "There's no rush, is there?" She said, flicking her ears invitingly. The Alpha shifted on her haunches, rooting herself in a more comfortable sitting position. Dipping her head down, she tore off another moderate sized piece of the rabbit laying at her paws, swallowing.

"Oh, yes. They're doing fine." Laika replied. She shifted her body into a sitting position, her eyes sweeping around camp. It seemed that the whole pack was awake; doing patrols, going hunting, and many more activities.

A growl escaped his clenched muzzle, merely hearing 'Vigilance' caused his hackles to rise. Withholding mild excitement, his legs pushed him up. Gaze focused on Kodix as he padded off, then faced Haunt. "Let's go," He barked sternly, tempted to nip her muzzle. Kodix had given them orders, vital ones, he wasted no moment and headed back to camp. Unsure had he beaten Kodix home, his gaze wandered over pack-mates. Aching to demand order, he resisted, instead, first approaching Northe. Tail held level near his haunches, ears forward, now standing before Northe. "Kodix has ordered patrols. Some lone pup has raised concerns of Vigilance.'" Teeth gritted when mentioning Vigilance.

The brute lifted his head up when one of his pack mates approached, nodding his head as he stood up fully instead of slouching. He listened to what the other male had to say, strongly disliking Vigilance as well but he didn't fully hate them, and the pup? what's so harmful about a pup. He let out a huff and glanced around again, "Right away. I'll be there. But what shall we do if we find.. this pup?" He asked, not wanting to bring it harm since he had a soft spot for them, but he also didn't want to go against orders. Northe's tail flickered a little, figuring he could continue his walk since he was going around the borders anyway.

Ghost smiled faintly as the pup nodded. "You're a smart one, arent you?" She praised and pawed at him playfully. "Alright. I'm going to find you some food..." She thought for a moment then seemed to come to a decision. "Kesi. Yes, Kesi, I like that." Ghost stood up and padded out of her den, looking back to check that Kesi had stayed. "Dont go anywhere. Stay." She instructed, glaring for emphasis. "Stay."
As she exited the comfort of her abode, Ghost noticed the group of wolves grouped together. Obviously they were preparing to patrol the borders, in fact it was strange that hadn't gone already. The parentless pup seemed to have rattled her pack. Ignoring the patrol and knowing that she wouldn't go with them, even if she had to fight someone because of it, she didn't even give them a second glance. She headed straight for the kill pile and grabbed a small mouse in her maw, silently hoping that Kesi could eat meat.

Making his way towards Renn, Northe and Haunt, he broke into their conversation. "Correction; We're going to see if Vigilance knows anything about the mutt. And of course," He added. "The borders need to be checked frequently." Turning sharply on his paws, the dark grey male made his way away from the clearing where the camp resided. The trees around the small group growing bigger in number, the strong scent of Odious soon lingered in the air. Kodix halted, remained planted where he was. His pale green eyes scanned his surroundings, noticing that Vigilance had no border patrols out. His tail lightly brushed against the ground, barking orders once more. "We'll split up so we can cover more ground in less time. Once you're done, meet me here. Of course, if you see any Vigilance or lone wolves I trust that you chase them out." He said rather flatly. Breaking into a brisk trot, he circled the borderline, finding himself his own section. His ears perked, the male slowly prowled around, taking note of the various scents around him.

When Maya remembered that Laika is going to have pups her childish side showed up."Puppies!"She said and wagged her tail while moving around the expecting female.The Beta turned her blue glare on the alpha female."I am getting to mentor one,right Sori?Right?"She asked while stretching her long and strong legs that now were stiff from sleeping.

"Anyway! I planned on going to patrol later today so if you want you can come, Daemon."She switched her look on the camp to see the other wolves."We will see who else will come."

He wandered around the empty den, stomach growling softly. What if his parents weren't coming back? He shook off the thought and stood outside of the den, waiting for the kind fae to come back. Still, negative thoughts about what happened bubbled in the back of the optimistic pup, and he grew worried, his happy face changing into an anxious one. A bird flew above his head and he forgot all his worries, and began to chase after it, forgetting his orders to stay. He found himself in the forest, not too far from the den, but probably farther than he should have been, but he knew his way back. He watched the bird escape and curled up, finally exhausted.

Grimsley
Back at his den Grimsley was nosing through the pile of leaf litter that made up his bed. His mind had momentarily been taken off the pup when his stomach had decided to grumble. It was past breakfast time and seeing as the pack's lowly subordinates had not bothered to bring a nice juicy deer home, and he wasn't in the mood for the meagre scraps that were left on the kill pile, his only other option was to try and sniff out the half-eaten elk hoof that he'd buried several days before. He was just about done excavating his small meal when his ears homed in on the sound of a bird twittering. Growling lowly he looked over his shoulder only to see the strange pup bouncing off towards the forest, apparently unaccompanied. He poked his head out of his den entrance and looked around. Many of the pack's wolves seemed to been gone including the king, probably off patrolling or hunting at last. Yes, the pup definitely seemed to be all alone at this precise moment in time.

A wicked grin formed on the brute's maw and at once he abandoned his snack to pursue Kesi. He stepped lightly as though not to alert the pup of his presence until he was close enough to pounce and make a clean, quick kill. Grimsley's plan was ultimately foiled though as one of his great heavy paws crunched down on a bed of dried leaves. He froze, eyes locked on the comparatively tiny pup, and waited for his reaction.

Cinna
Cinna busied herself with her herbs, humming softly as she organised and reorganised every bunch and sprig that she owned. She could hear voices a short ways from her den and therefore kept an ear out should her pack-mates request her help. She was prepared for just about any manner of medical assistance, from having a hideful of seasonal fleas to a badly cut flank from a flailing deer during a hunt. And soon, as she had recently found out, the pack would be expecting its first litter of puppies from one of the females. Without that in mind Cinna made a mental note to collect some more dandelions and sage the next time she was out.

Cinna sat back after a little while, sighing happily with a big smile with her completed inventory laid out before her, all ready to be used. "Perfect." she praised. After a moment the medic popped out of the den to take herself something from the fresh kill pile whilst she took a short break from her duties though whilst remaining ready to jump right back in at the second's notice. She picked a squirrel from the pile and trotted to her den.
