Comet dipped his head respectfully, ''Nice to meet you, Carpe'' he responded. ''I'm Comet,
I might smell weird because I'm a male, or a stallion'' he added, the stallion quietly
nickered at Day.

"Call me Day, Carpe Diem is my formal name." Day thought for a moment, "what is a stallion? The only males I have met are geldings." She added curiously.

"Well, it's nice to meet you, Silver Moon." He grinned, swishing his black tail. "I also don't have a herd, though I am interesting in starting one...would you like to start one with me?" He asked.

She thought for a moment. Did she want give her freedom right now? Did she have what it takes to be a lead mare? These questions ran through her mind before she decided. This was her time and she wasn't going to let go. Gin looked at him and nickered, "Yes. I will start a herd with you." The words almost foreign to her but she had made her decision but there was something that crossed her mind. Her twin brother.

Kuroshura wandered through a large field and looked around. He had been away after being captured by humans and finally managed to escape but now his biggest problem was that he didn't know where he was. He wondered how his sister was doing and if she had found a herd to join yet.

"Really? That's great!" Storm grinned. He had a herd now! Well it could hardly be called a herd, as it was just him and Gin, but it was something. "This is my first time as lead stallion...I've never had a herd of my own before...I promise I'll do whatever I can to keep this herd safe." He said. The herd was small now, but he was hoping that it would grow over time.

Gin looked at him and smiled. He was so happy about it. She looked around the field and nickered, flicking her scented tail. She walked towards a small stream and dipped her head for a drink

Storm followed Gin to the stream, his ears pricking in interest when he detected her heat scent. He did notice it earlier, but didn't act yet. He stopped beside her and lowered his muzzle to the cool water. Once his thirst was quenched he lifted his head and stepped closer to Gin. He began to groom her shoulder, flicking his tail to swat away any bugs that came close.

He continued to groom her, moving from her withers to her back. His ears were laid back in a relaxed way, but he remained alert, checking their surroundings every so often to check for threats. After a bit he nudged Gin with his muzzle, asking for a foal. He was unsure if she would accept him, and was ready to back off if she decided to kick him.
