"Uh... I'm not actually fluffy..." Fluffy started to regret barking. "Hey Mellow?"

"That's funny! I guess we're basically the same. With our names not being like us" Mellow was just letting it all out now that she could talk again "what fluffy?"

"Wanna be friends?" She slowly wagged her tail as she waited for a reply.

Mellow wanted to scream yes a thousand times, but she contained her excitement, she already drew enough attention to herself. "Obviously Fluffy! You're AWESOME! I'm glad to have you as my friend," Mellow smiled and thought about what Fluffy would look like when the people let all of the animals out! Mellow was glad to finally have someone she could trust and talk to.

Fluffy wanted to jump up and down a million times, but just wagged her tail quickly. "What is this place anyway?"

"I don't really know, but I like it better then where I was before," Mellow shivered, not wanting to think about when she was left on the streets, "it has food, and really great dogs. They also let you out to run around." Mellow sat a little and thought about stretching her legs and running around, I guess she missed that part of the streets.

Fluffy yawned. "Aren't you tired?" Where's my bed again? She sniffed around the cage and tripped on her bed. Found it...

"Ya I'm," mellow paused and yawned, "tired. Goodnight fluffy" Mellow layed in her bed and put her head on her paws. Mellow didn't really want to go to sleep because of the bad nightmares she'd been having recently. But her drooping eyes told her otherwise, so she closed her eyes and wished for a peaceful sleep that wouldn't come.

Fluffy yawned a last time. "Ni-" She was already sleeping on her side like every night.

[Jealousy Empress]

Pipsqueak was alone. She wanted her mama, who she had been taken away from before she was properly weaned. She started howling. "Hello? Is anybody awake?" She called, waiting for a response. " hello?"
