Aikita shook out her blue merle coat, she crawled out of the dumpster she had found refuge in the night before from the dog catcher, and now her stomache was growling at her. She whimpered as she stretched her aching muscles, walking out of the alley and into the street, looking for any humans with food.

Luca stood up from his place on the bench, the sun shining on his well muscled shoulders. He grabbed the bone left over from his scraps and quickly dug a whole under a large bush in the park to bury it. Satisfied with his job he headed back toward a busier area of the city, the shock collar digging into his neck. He passed by the feet of many people and turned into an alley that had a puddle in it. He lapped at the water, when he saw the shadow of the pound's van he took of in flash running with all of his speed, he was happy as can be that he was pure greyhound, he ended up in a part of the city he didn't recognize, though the dog catcher was far behind him. He looked up at the building he stopped in font of and stiffed the air. It smelled very strongly of many different dogs.
