Blue watched the stallion, uncertain of what to say.

Out of Ashes
Ash flicked his ears as the sound receded. He waited a few seconds before turning back to Sunbeam, "You okay?"he asked, concerned.

Striking Thunder paused before stepping out in the open, seeing the tame horse and human travelling after other herds farther away from them. They were safe from anything, for now... Pivorting on his hind-legs he turned to face Blue, once more. Stepping towards her, he glanced her body over incase of injuries or cuts from something as they hid from man and his tame horse. The stallion let some hot air come from his nostrils as he let out a sigh, flicking his ears he rested one of his hind legs.


Sunbeam looked back to Ash and tossed her head up and down as if to nod. "I am fine" She answered quickly, her ears pricked and her nostrils flared, her tail held up in the cool breeze that swept over them, she was alert, and she looked magnificent!

Blue Sorrows
Blue awkwardly averted her gaze towards the grass, unsure of what to say. The wind caressed her mane, causing it to hang on an angle, her tail was also almost completely vertically, and she gave a hesitant paw to the ground before tilting her gaze back to the stallion, studying him curiously.

Out of Ashes
Ash smiled, "Good." he snorted, he took a step back so the stallion could admire the beautiful grey mare before him. "You really are one beautiful mare." He snorted matter-of-factly.

Sunbeam gazed towards the stallion, breaking her stare toward the hills where the man had chased the other horses. She tilted her head ever so slightly, curious of how the stallion studied her. She was speechless.

The stallion remained quiet also. Then he spoke, "Why won't you join me?" He asked curiously, "Did I not proove myself in any way just then. I put you first before myself in danger" He said carefully.

Blue was feeling a bit more confident, so she decided to tease the stallion, "Well, you did. But it's still not enough." she taunted slightly, flicking her tail to make it even worse.

The stallion's nostrils flared at her scent, but not angrily. By her tone he took it as a mocking reply. "Well, then what else shall I do?" He asked teasingly back.

Blue flicked her tail again, this time letting it linger in the air. "I don't know, you tell me." she snorted with a smirk, giving her head a flick to get rid of her long forelock.

Curling his nostrils as they quivered excitedly he attempted to get her scent out of his head and nose. Flicking his tail intently he pricked his ears and thought. "Well that's no help really..." He answered with a laugh. Grunting softly he bent down to clip some of the short grass between his teeth.

Blue flicked her ears, "I know." she snorted teasingly. "You're not going to get me in your herd that easily, mister." she snorted tilting her head mockingly. The mare flicked her tail at some flies and stomped her back leg before returning her attention towards Thunder, waiting for an answer.
