Aurora
Caribou Pack ~ Alpha Female
It was so early that the fog was still hanging around the valley. As Aurora awoke she dragged herself out of the den and up onto her favourite rock, this is where she kept an eye on her pack. She would make sure danger never entered her territory, especially the pack that her rotten cousin leads. Aurora howled, the cold air made it look like she blew out steam, she hoped her pack would respond to her call. She knew if it got any later in the day they would lose the chance to go hunting and catch some prey for the next two or three days. Sitting back down on her rock, she scanned the den area, barking out to her pack members "Serenade, Jericho, Tiger Lilly and Magi., please could you wake up." She hated having to raise her voice at them, she wished that they would just learn to awake to the sound of her morning howl. Aurora still found it hard to keep a steady balance between a caring and affectionate leader with a leader who was dominant and had assertiveness. Waiting for her members to clamber out of the den, she looked around, listening to the animals in the forest starting to awake. Trying to stay calm her body started to fidget, she yapped at her pack, urging them to wake up.
Jericho
Caribou Pack ~ Beta Male
It was so cold, Jericho rolled over letting out a soft growl, was it really time to get up? Trying not to let himself fall back asleep, he wandered over to the youngest member of the pack Tiger Lilly. Nudging her softly and growling "Time to wake up, before boss gets angry." He looked at her and then walked off to nudge the other two members awake, Magi and Serenade. He was keen to teach Magi as many hunting skills as he could, he wanted to encourage her to become the lead Hunter of the pack one day. Serenade was already in a high position but Jericho knew there was much for him to learn, he could teach him so many important skills to help with hunting and fighting. The only problem was that Jericho thought he would never be able to gain his trust, never would he be able to share the darkness from his past. Besides wanting a life long mate, there was nothing Jericho wanted more than to help keep his sisters pack safe and to be closer to Serenade. He let out another growl, urging the others out of the den, as he wondered out the glare off the fog made him squint. Looking up at his sister he could feel nothing but pride, she had been so strong and courageous she never let anything put her down.
