She wears a cardinal's feather in her fur in honor of her mother, who passed away when she was a young kit, who's name was Feathered Wings.
History: Star was born in the Barn, and lived life to the fullest as a kit, always bouncing and happy.... Here she will tell the story... ~Star clears her throat~ "My Mother's name was Feathered Wings... she died when i was younger, attacked by another cat. I... I held her chest closed for hours, calling for help, but no one came. I felt her heart stop beating beneath my paws... I didn't leave her body's side for a full day, and the grave for 3 days. I grew, and learned to live with the pain, and i'm living with the group. Please... Don't ask me again." And since that day, she's tried to always make someone smile, no matter what kind of a day she's having.
