||Camp||Talking to: No One||
Lily stretched and yawned, her white fangs flashing in the dim morning light that managed to seep its way into her den. She sat up, blinking a few times to clear the sleep from both her eyes and mind. Shaking herself once more, she stepped out of her den and into the soft light of the rising sun. It was early, and dew still clung to the grass, making everything glow in the suns first light. She smiled as she looked around for anyone else that might be awake, though she knew she wasn’t likely to find anyone. She had always been an early riser, and usually had a few minutes to herself in the morning until others began to stir.
She made her way over to the small stream that ran close by camp, the fur on her paws and legs soon becoming damp from the dew. As she lowered her head to drink she thought about what needed done today. The pack boarders were over due for a good patrol, and the kill pile was growing smaller. When she lifted her head she looked around again, this time looking deeper into the forest surrounding camp. She frowned, flicking her ears back just a bit as the fur along her neck bristled ever so slightly. She couldn’t put a paw on it, but something seemed off about the forest this morning. She looked up into the tree tops in search of the birds that were usually singing away by this time, but were strangely silent now.
With a flick of her tail she turned and padded over to a large rock in the middle of camp, easily leaping up onto it and slowly looking around, her eyes scanning the shadows of the forest and then the horizon. She had a strange feeling this morning, and she wasn’t quite sure what to make of it. After a long moment of looking all around, she sat down, curling her tail around her paws as her ears flicked back in thought.

((Just a vague intro. I will post for my other charries soon, once everyone else has started.
