W H A T is going on inside, my dear?

Personality; Anise, though friendly, is very shy. She doesn't talk much unless someone spurs her into conversation, and then her replies are short, polite and distant. She is more inclined to just watch and listen, and is very timid. However, she isn't exactly solitary, and prefers to hang around the fringes of a group. Ashley is a tension breaker, and in times of high agitation, she will speak out calmly to try and relax everyone. Sometimes, she cracks a joke. She tries to calm everyone when they are angry; which leads us to another attribute. Loyalty. This girl would take a 'bullet to a chest' for her friends, who are most of the people she knows. Around people she trusts highly, she is very open and jokes around a lot.

Strengths; Anise has speed and agility on her side.

Weaknesses; Anise is skittish and very weak.

Drive for survival; Anise believes things will get better. You just have to change them.

Cam hurried to help Concierto to the make-shift den, and laid him down softly. His ears flicked as he listened to the other wolves speak. As one of them mentioned introductions the brute's eyes brightened. "My name is Camino, and this is Concierto. We ate not too long ago." He said softly, acknowledging what the wolves had said among themselves.

As the she-wolf approached slowly, he watched with calculating cold eyes, but was jolted back tot he world around him as Camino practically pushed him to the den made. With a pointed glare to his companion he laid his head on his paws, curious about the fa that had approached him, he ha heard her say hello before he was hurried off. Butt as usual the brute's attitude was cold towards the others, not speaking only staring into the falling snow where they had brought him from.

Nakalla smiled and cocked her head at the poultice. "That should do the trick. The cold will do the rest." Nakalla looked up and saw that the sun was setting. "Crud." Nakalla said. Then she turned to look at Sammael. "Get down here right now." Her eyes were wide and her hackles raised.

Kalia felt as though Nakalla felt as though she was better than all the others and growled to herself. She raised her tail in a "I do not wish to fight, but we are all equal here and we don't have to listen to you" way, and quietly walked over near her. She really didn't want to fight with any of these wolves, as they were all the same. Lost, hungry, cold, scared. Besides, like Nakalla had said, they have to stick together whether they want to or not.

Nakalla growled slightly. "S--s-sammael." She said quietly. "I do not mean to intrude, but there is a bear behind you."
And there was. It was huge, about the size of a male moose in the spring, but on steroids. It reared its head and growled at the brute, swiping its paws.

Sam blinked. A bear? Wouldn't there have been more warning if a bear was jus--holy-! The male turned just in time to see the beast raise its paws. He leaped to the side and faced the bear, hackles on end and a vicious growl behind his bared fangs. Stupid ursine, trying to pull a sneak attack. Likely it was starving too, and perhaps it would be just slow enough for him to get around it and make it back to the hole. But something caught his eye. The white stranger. She was still a good distance from the tree. If he retreated now, she'd be the only target. He didn't quite fancy the idea of attacking it, but he'd sooner let it take off his head than leave someone else to be the scapegoat. He barked, snapping his teeth at the bear while backing away from the tree, his icy eyes pinned on the massive creature.

"What in the--" Nakalla stuttered. "SAM! What the freak are you doing!?" She jumped out and snapped at the bear. "You're going to get us all killed!" She watched as the bear reared up on its hindlegs. "Mother of God..." Nakalla cringed and braced herself.

The brute snarled, rushing forward. Idiot fae! "What am I doing?!" He crouched low and then sprung as high as he could, managing to grab hold of the bear's paw just as it began to come down and sinking his teeth deep into it's flesh. Bear blood...yuck. Always tasted bitter to him. Sam hung there a moment to be sure he had interrupted it's attack, then dropped down in front of Nakalla, shaking blood from his face. "I was trying to draw it away!" He turned to face the bear, snapping and moving around it to draw its attention back onto him.


(Hmm, should we just ignore Athena for now? Or say she ran off? Hasn't posted in a bit.)

Annoyed by Nakalla's bossyness, Kalia growled and the hairs on her spine rose. "You can't control us," She said, and raced to help Sammael. She jumped at the bear's back and bit his skin to distract him for a second, and then said to Sammael, "Just to make up for our little arguement."
