[ My apologies for the short posts.
I look up to the sky, where the bright blue sky looked back down at me. Few clouds floated below the sky and the sun shone brightly as always. I look back down and to my den which was now a lot drier than before when the top was covered in water. I click my paws on the concrete floor, wondering what I could do today. I was quite a warm day so most of the possibilities where endless. I sneeze from the dust being swept around me and turn to walk out the alley, but something stopped me, another dog. A low growl erupts from my throat as I stare wildly at the stranger.
I growl. "How can I trust you," I stare at the male, not realizing that I wasn't even looking at him, I was looking next to him, but it seemed so casual like I knew I wasn't looking at him properly, but I didn't know. My tail was between my legs and my ears were pinned as I was scared this dog would attack, because I wouldn't know.

xxxxxxxxxxx★xxxxxxxxxxx★xxxxxxxxxxx★Elizabeth pinned her ears against her skull. She avoided the human traffic and headed towards the isolated alleys. She wasn't sure what to do next. Her mind drifted to the elderly couple who cared for her and she faced her paws. She felt wrong after the fire, she tried to get to them but humans wearing bright yellow/orange suits blocked her way as she whined and howled. They gave her sorrowful gazes as if they knew. She ran away before the dog catcher could get his grasp on her.Living as a stray was not easy and she had yet to meet other strays."Oh..Where's the food when you need it,"she growled, flicking her thick tail.

________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ "If I wanted you dead, I would've already killed you by now," Damon replied simply. And if it was true; Damon killed many dogs before who posed a threat to him, and no doubt, if this fae did attack him, Damon would defend himself with all teeth and claws. Though at the moment, she seemed too brittle to do such a thing. Her tail was tucked between her legs, and her eyes; their murky color showed no expression about her feelings. Though by her breed, she seemed to be a rather frail-framed dog, and while Damon was not the healthiest looking dog on the streets, he had some muscle to defend himself. This fae, had practically none. And by her eyes, the doberman was concluding that she was probably blind, the reason she wasn't looking straight at him. However, not to stir up alarm in her by what he said, he only said in a simple tone once more, "but alas, I will not do that. I am not like some brutes on the streets; ready to tear apart every dog that crosses my path." He looked at her calmly, his dark brown eyes showing no sign of threat. However, he knew the fae would probably still be suspicious. She must of had a rough life, so she probably wouldn't trust Damon immediately. Though, it was worth a shot to try to make an ally of her. Damon had plenty of enemies, and didn't want to have another on his tail. "my name is Damon, by the way."

Even though I couldn't see the male, I still felt he was at a stance that meant he wouldn't attack me. I relaxed slightly but still ready to attack if he struck at me. "I see ..." I say, looking down at the ground below me. It was true, it would of been smarter to of killed me straight away if he wanted to, but instead he didn't. I would agree with him that a lot of stray dogs loved to chew up anything weaker than them self, it was survival of the fittest, not the weaker win everything. "Well, I appreciate you not tearing me to pieces, even though you had a high chance of winning as of my condition, I'm blind. I can only see darkness and the darker figures of everything around me." I say with a small sigh, remembering what it was like to be able to see what was going on and not have to reply more on nose and ears. All my life I'd never really been able to trust a dog, but maybe this male could be different. As he introduces himself as Damon, a small smile wipes across my face. Maybe ... "I'm Dainty, and my name doesn't mean anything about my fighting skills," I say quite sternly. Other dogs always got a different impression from my name, but that meant nothing, I had experience with fighting and I sure wasn't afraid to prove it.

________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ "well, nice to meet you, Dainty," Damon said after she introduced herself to him. Dainty was quite the odd name, though of course, he heard of way worse. But it was a nice name; nothing like Death or Blood, that's for sure. Damon listened to her as she admitted she was blind; he quickly felt sorry for her, though when she introuced herself and said her name had no effect on her fighting skills, it quickly washed away. Damon didn't know how she could fight being blind, but that was beyond his knowledge. He only dipped his large cranium before saying, "I won't underestimate you, then. I heard somewhere then when you're blind, you have more sharper hearing senses." He heard that from other strays, though had never met a blind dog before, so he couldn't confirm it.
