Julia
~ Fae ~ Hunter ~ Picture ~ Downtown Pack ~ 4½ yrs ~ Forum ~ The gentle, early morning sun slowly made it's way over the horizon and it helped dry the doberman's soaked pelt although it wasn't working fast enough. She glared hatefully at the dumpster, knowing that her old best friend was under there, warm and cozy with her pups by her side. The image made her bristle and Julia curled up tight in a ball, attempting to warm herself up. She was shaking madly, her teeth chattering and her skin trembling from the hypothermia that was devolving. She found herself envious of Bridget, how she hadn't been out in the storm the entire night freezing to death. Julia was far too large to ever manage to squeeze under a dumpster so she had been left to freeze in the cold of the night.
Her warm breath was visible in the air, as it was on cold days and nights. Despite her cold Julia found herself giggling as she remembered her youth, when her father would explain about that to his daughter. "You see, Julia have you ever noticed that in cold nights our breath turns into mist? It's called 'dragon breath'. The reason why is because inside of all of us, even the most broken dogs is the heart of a dragon, brave and courageous." "You think so daddy? Is that really true?" "Of course it is, Jewel. Look at your own breath. You must have a big heart, Julia because your breath is obvious in the air. That is how you can tell a good dog from a bad one." Julia had never known whether or not that story was true but she never doubted it. For some reason tears came to eyes. Suddenly at that moment Julia realized how much she missed her father, how much she wished he was still here. "I miss you, daddy." She breathed, her breath of air puffing out into mist and swirling away into the air.
"You shout it out,
But I can't hear a word you say
I'm talking loud not saying much
I'm criticized but all your bullets ricochet
You shoot me down, but I get up
I'm bulletproof, nothing to lose
Fire away, fire away
Ricochet, you take your aim
Fire away, fire away
You shoot me down but I won't fall
I am titanium"

(I'm sorry to say but I'm going to have to quit this roleplay. I'm just not getting too into it. I'm sorry.)
