Warriors- Accepting Come Join!

EchoKit was ready to respond, but his father's tail quickly stole his attention. He held the long black tail in his paws and purred softly. He didn't know this she-cat. Nuzzling against his mother as well, he figured he'd enjoy the warmth himself. "Well. Not-sister," he said closing his eyes with a smile. "You're fwee to join."

[Cake.]

With a hurrumph, MothKit curled up against her father's side, blinking.

EchoKit released his father's tail and pressed further against FallowFern.

ShadowStrike slowly wrapped his tail around MothKit, smiling gently and gazing upon her with loving eyes. The sun was still up, but setting soon. They'd been here for quite a while.

[Cake.]

FallowFern purred softly, setting her chin on her paws. She was exhausted, and she felt safe sleeping now that she knew her kits were safe.

MothKit rolled onto her back, staring at the rays of sun coming through the branches of the nursery.

[SolJudicator]

ShadowStrike sat closely to FallowFern, He hummed her favorite tune just above her ear, keeping his tail snug around his daughter.

EchoKit mewed incomprehensibly before nuzzling against his mother once more and falling suddenly asleep, his eyes closing as the sun descended.

[Cake.]

MothKit reached out a tiny paw, trying to catch some of the sunlight. Her tail thrashed behind her, and she blinked in confusion.

[SolJudicator]

ShadowStrike watched MothKit with a smile. He let her paw at the rays for a minute before petting her head with a gentle paw. "Sorry, MothKit," he said in his low soothing voice. "Thats not for us to take."

[Cake.]

MothKit looked to her father, blinking. "Why not?" she asked, rolling onto her tummy.

[SolJudicator]

ShadowStrike stroke the back of her neck with his tail. "Its hard to explain. The sun is something you can see, feel even. But its special," he went on. "You just can't hold light."

[Cake.]

She scowled. "That's unfair. I can catch up to it." she said, staring upwards.
