Emerald walked out of the den slowly. She looked around still weary of anyone else who dared to eaves-srop on her and Howler's conversation. She then trotted into the wood's after Howler.

Cody snarled when her hoof skins against his side. He howls and jumped on the does back, sending her down.

Dusk growled and went for the throat the moment the doe was on the ground. Blood splashed against his chest and he stepped back, licking his chops clean. "Nice job." He said, catching his breath a bit as he studied the dead doe.

Hailstorm looked at her intently, his gaze unblinking. "Perhaps the wolves are strong, but the pack hasn't been since my grandfather led it. Now it's so bad I have to get someone else's help to put it back together. Either this new arrangement is going to make everything really good, or drastically bad."

Mekah rose to her paws and trotted through the trees, her eyes alert.

Goldpaw had been scouting throughout the night, sleep impossible. Now she heard a soft swishing noise, unmistakably the walking of another wolf. From the weight of the footfalls and the length of the stride, she guessed it to be Mekah, an invaluable scout. A breeze in her direction confirmed it. With a few bounds, she saw the scout. "Hey. Seen anything abnormal?" she wore a smile, a sign that nothing was amiss and she was just making conversation.

"Oh, nothing so far, seems quiet for once." She stated, plopping down onto the ground with a thump. "Have you?"

Bronte excused herself from Storm and padded into the woods. She went along the border, soon to disappear with the joining of two packs. She put her ears back and crossed the border onto the other side. She didnt want to make herself known so she stayed quiet.
