Fallen slowly stood up walking out side of her den.She walked to the lake and sat down watching the fishing swim and curve and swiftly move as the water was already frozen. It was Spring in a week and she now new who she was going to choose...It was fairly difficult but she would choose him.

[tommie.]

She padded around camp, looking for something to do. She coughed once, the last bit of soot from the fire finally getting out of her lungs. She made a disgusted face and spat the saliva out of her mouth to get the taste out. Spring was almost here, and it was getting warmer. Edme decided to go to the lake and see if it was thawing. She trotted through the forest, but when she got to the lake she found Fallen. She padded up beside her and sat, looking at the water. "Hey..." She greeted, flickign her ears.

[Iŗi]

Fallen looked over her shoulder, "Hey Edme...." he said looking back down to the water. 'Do you have a mate planned out yet?" she said with a sigh before looking up at Edme to see what her answer would be.

[tommie.]

She shook her head and sighed. "No....I've barely even met any of the brutes. I've met about 2 or 3, but none of them really appealed to me. When they actually did, I found out they liked somebody else. So honestly, I don't even know when or if I'll be getting a mate this year." She looked at her paws, pursing her lips.

[Iŗi]

Fallen looked over to her with a frown "Well its fine...You just got to go talk to them... Here lets go talk to Scar for you..." She smiles slowly standing up and limping back to her den where Scar was.

[tommie.]

She followed Fallen somewhat reluctantly, a grin playing on her muzzle. "Fallen, you don't have to do this you know." She said quietly, sitting outside Fallen's den. "Really. I can talk to him later."

Fang got up and walked over to the lake. He sat down quietly and looked into the water. He saw his rippled, fading relection. He looked away and started to wonder, Will I find a mate? Or will I be alone until next Winter? Fang sighed at the thought and got up. He took a short walk out into the forest, wanting some time by himself. He silently looked around for any prey, but he saw nothing. He lowered his head and tunred back around towards camp. He traveled back to camp and padded into his den. He laid down inside, burying his face in his paws. He started to cry a little, but held back his tears. I'll never find a mate. He thought sorrowfully.

She glanced around the clearing and saw Fang walk into his den. He looked upset. She looked at Fallen and smiled slightly. "I'll be right back." She frowned in concern for Fang. She hadn't really met him, but she couldn;t help but fell sorry for him. She hated seeing others upset. She padded to his den and sat outside. "Umm...Are you okay?" She called into the open, feeling a bit awkward.

He looked up to Edme and wipes his tears. "I'm fine... I just haven't found a mate yet." He said, looking around his den.
