I showed my teeth, then glanced over at Baroness. She did agree with me, and I knew that for sure. But, she was right, we couldn't kill them all at once, especially if that oblivious collie was on their side. "You'll all burn, and I won't be there to help you protect this farm. Good luck," the second command barked at them, turning and padding off, leaving the farm.

My jaw hung in shock. Did he really just leave. "Oh, crap. Now we're screwed..." She muttered, no longer having the expert guidance and protection of her brother unless she went with him. "Wait, I'm coming with you!" She barked, following after him.

While everyone was busy fussing over Amelia, I stalked the goats. They weren't too big, at least the nannies weren't. Plus, there were some unattended kids running about. I licked my chops, darting off before my chance was wasted. It took quite some time, but I eventually downed a nanny and a kid before I could get seriously hurt by a ram. I was quick to drag them away, out of the pen.
