Gage was gingerly stepping over some puddles in the concrete, twitching his ears as he listened to Taylor's remarks. She did have a good point about the park; it was warm, secure, and a nice place to sleep. Besides, no humans regularly went to where he had in mind. They would have to sleep somewhere hidden from the humans; such as under some bushes or behind a tree. However, Gage knew somewhere they could sleep that would be comfortable, yet hidden from human view so they would be safe. He looked over his shoulder as they slunk to the shadows of the buildings to hear her suggestion, and he nodded, turning back to look in front of him, "good idea! And that's fine with me." For some reason, he found himself having stronger feelings for the fae. Gage knew it was bad; he just met her only a few days ago, but he couldn't help it. Besides, the cattle dog never had a good, reliable friend like Taylor before. So, it felt nice to know you could trust someone. Soon, they stopped at the end of a busy street, humans walking by in a swift pace so they didn't notice the two dogs crouched near the barrier of the brick buildings. Narrowing his eyes, the brute's ice-blue eyes observed the surroundings curtly.

Taniece stood silently, she'd rested out back behind the cafe waiting for her everyday treat. As the man came out she gently barked in greeting and took the food hurriedly and ran off not wanting any other canines taking her meal. Running down into the park crossing roads and almost getting hit by a car twice she hid in the bush and ate her food Not completely hidden. As a child came up to pat her Taniece, being the friendly dog she was went to sniff the human but it was quickly grabbed by it's mother who growled at her, Taniece instantly jumped to her feet and ran off not agreeing to being growled at.

Lucky looked at the female his eyes filled with fear and scared with of aggression in them that were focused on the fae.Not being a very social dog he had no idea how to act towards this somewhat friendly looking fae,"well I will let it slide for this first time and you can come with me for a bit but don't expect it to ever happen again,and this does not mean we are friends just a stray helping out another," he said as he closed mouth over resting his fangs gently on his bottom lip.Flickering his tail as a sign for her to follow him he then realized that he wanted the fae in front so that he could make sure he knew she was in sight,"are you coming or not?" he asked with a hint of firmness in his tone.

Taylor began to walk keeping her pace the same as Gage's as she slowly walked over the puddles,carefully trying not to get her paws wet since it was already cold enough and she didn't need freezing cold puddles to make her worse.The black and tan fae looked around at the city they had been in and the seeing the dull lights slowly flicker on and off her body began to tingle making her feel insecure about something like as if someone was going to come of some place.Shaking her head to ignore her feelings she then heard Gage speak about her good idea she had given him,"thanks and I am glad to hear that your okay with it," she said kindly to him as suddenly felt her heart tingle as if she had been getting feelings for the brute.Taylor knew that it was dangerous getting feelings for others but she knew that Gage was so reliable and unlike others since he had the chance to attack her or even worse but instead he allowed her to go along with.Suddenly the fae stopped and crouched down near the barrier with Gage,seeing the humans past them swiftly and the brick buildings she kept a sharp eye them after all knows what they could do them.

The brute smiled at her remark before slowing down along the shadows, eyes narrowed at the presence of the humans. Gage felt his pelt bristle at how close the humans were; so close, if they leaned out, they would touch the heads of Gage and Taylor. However, he wasn't going to just lounge around until they did. Keeping his pace again, he slunk along the shadows of the buildings until they came to an intersection, a whole line of humans standing together as they waited to cross the street. Skidding to a stop, he held up his tail to Taylor so she would stop as he waited for the humans to walk. After a minute or so, the group of humans started to walk, and Gage took his chance. Swishing his tail in a sign for her to follow, Gage sprinted forward and ran through the crowd of humans. Some humans yelped and jumped at the sign of the dog while some others looked down and raised eyebrows, though the cattle dog was through the crowd as quick as he had been running through them. Across was central park, and seeing a cover of bushes, he lunged forward and hide within the leaves and brambles, relaxing once he knew no humans had followed. Poking his head from the leaves, he looked across to Taylor and waited for her to cross.

Sophia flattened her ears when Sailor padded forward and vanished into the shop. Letting out a low growl, she felt her pelt bristle, come on! In the belly of the beast? It was a human shop! However, she couldn't let Sailor go in there alone. He probably knew the shop owner or something and got special privileges, though Sophia was still uncertain as she trotted forward and into the shop after Sailor, crouched down with her shoulders up and her head down. She arrived inside just to see Sailor sniffing at a record and a man putting it on a record player. Sophia slowly came over and looked at the man in doubt, but however pulled her head back when the music on the record started playing. It had a good tune, though not her style. Gently nudging Sailor, she then told him doubtfully, "let's look at some other records. There's plenty to hear." The fae nodded to the other records hanging around.

Taylor smiled back at Gage as she slowly moved along and stopped as she wanted Gage to go first so that it was safer for him,she then began to crawl along the ground near Gage.Taylor's fur suddenly began to bristle as the hands of many different humans touched her and Gages head and at one stage the she almost growled and snapped back at one that had actually petted her but she knew that they were trying to be noticed so she ignored it and continued to follow Gage.As she walked she soon saw that Gage had held his tail up as a sign to stop which of course she obeyed well and truly,looked around the fae had felt so caged in with the group of humans that had surrounded but she knew to keep herself steady and calm.Finally once Gage gave her the single that it was alright to cross and follow him she took her chance and sprinted through the crowd of humans that she had been so close to,as the black and tan Hovawart sprinted she looked at the humans that had looked at her with confused looks and some that looked at her as if she was just dirt.Within a few more minutes she had escaped the large crowd of humans and saw Gage lunge into the bushes that covered him,doing the exact same thing she lunged forward and hid near him as she looked up and smiled knowing that they were finally safe and could relax."Lets hope we never go through that again," she said in a puffed out tone as she caught her breathe and spoke once more,"I hope you like it here and that you feel safe," she said kindly as she gently nudged him to show how much she cared.Hoping that she didn't make him feel uncomfortable she quickly backed up a bit and looked at him thinking she had moved on to fast,"i'm sorry about that," she muttered gently as she felt as if he only wanted a friendship.
