Laika opened her eyes, her mouth gaping open, a yawn slipping out. Her eyes seemed to screw up from the illuminating sun rays, radiating brightly. Laika's eyes then sweeping down to her broad belly. They'll be here soon. She notioned. The she-wolf sauntered towards the entrance. The hue in Laika's eyes brightened; from a dark golden, to her normal golden eyes. Her tongue lolled out as the sun bathed at her pelt, a soft wind sweeping through her fur.

Being snapped out of his trance, his pale green eyes traveled from the sky to meet Grimsley. The dark furred male listened intently, his eyes narrowing at the Beta's observations. "That's good for the most part." Kodix observed. "From what I know, Vigilance wouldn't let their pups wander too close to Odious territory, yet alone abandon them out of their sight." He stated. "I suspect his Dam is a rogue, or loner, and the father, who knows?" He paused for a moment, before abruptly continuing. "When the little mutt gets older, perhaps he'll tell us whether his mother - or father - were Vigilance or not.. Seeing that I've decided to let the pup live, much to my own dismay." The King's eyes were staring expectantly at Grimsley, expecting him to comment on how foolish his decision was. Personally, Kodix didn't think his decision was that bad. Despite what the Odious Beta thought, it seemed crystal clear that there would be more benefits than downfalls; the downfalls being it having Vigilance blood. "Of course, if the thing has Vigilance blood or is too much of a hassle, it'll be disposed of." The male finished off, awaiting Grimsley's response.

Hearing Cinna's comment she let out a somewhat reluctant sigh. "From what my mother's told me, I shouldn't trust Odious. It's been drilled through my head, all day, all night as a young pup. Koda was wise, and intelligent, so I'm sure she had her reasons.." Sorita said, awashing in nostalgia. Memories as a young pup flashed in her head, as she let out a soft chuckle. Giving herself a quick shake, she continued on. "From rumors I've heard, my mom liked Keyon.. So I don't see why they got off the wrong foot." She tilted her head thoughtfully. Her dark brown eyes traveled towards Cinna. "The feud continues on." The she-wolf let out a small laugh despite the dire topic. Her ears flicked. "Besides, that's the past. You wouldn't want to meet Kodix. He's ruthless, cold and savage. Perhaps some of his other packmates aren't like him, but Kodix is defiantly not one to recon with. He'll kill anyone if it means for his own benefit." Her gaze traveled towards the distant lands, covered with pine trees; that was where Odious resided. She pondered about what they could be doing at this time..

He could understand the word 'hungry', and it was clearly a question, so he nodded in agreement, hoping it would mean something to the fae. Laika was rather famished. She pattered over to where the prey was, her mouth suddenly watered when the aroma of the prey crawled into her nose, Laika's paws rushing to grab a hare. She whisked back to where she was, sitting down and snacking the hare down. She'd felt like she hadn't eaten in months.

Kodix had been merciless enough accepting him when he had barely matured, so respected his alpha immensely, and considered him [Kodix] his role model. With ease he tracked his pack-mates, arriving adjacent of Kodix and Grimsley, respectfully holding his frame low and tucking his tail. Eager for information, he held his tongue. Ears subtly rose and drew back, hearing only what seemed like the end of the conversation.

He shifted into a crouch as he slowly stalked a nearby bird. It had pitched on a small branch near the ground. The branch was low enough he could pounce and catch it. His feet easily carried his weight in slow quite steps. He inched closer, mouth watering. He hadn't eaten for two days, since he have his catches to Daniel and Dahlia. His stomach grumbles as he approached. He suddenly jumped and flung upward torward the small bird. He grasped its wing as it jumped trying to escape. He held on but the bird's wing ripped as he flew away. It looked injured slowly drifting downward. It fell into the tree's since its wing had broken. Daemon snarled and sighed. He padded back to camp disappointed he lost the bird. He spotted the alpha and trotted over. "Is there anythingI can do?" he asked.

Maya came back to reality when she spotted Sori talking with others so why not go to them."Morning!Anything happened while I was sleep-I mean relaxing!"She cut herself off fast and a small sigh came from her muzzle, followed by a soft smile.Her blue eyes were sparkling just like her coal like,black pelt, the cause begin the sun light.

Cinna
Cinna listened to her alphaess carefully as she explained. Whilst she was beginning to understand the other pack’s reasons for hating them her head was buzzing with unanswered questions. Upon noticing some of her packmates approaching she smiled in greeting. She assumed that they were here to receive orders of what to do for the day; patrols, hunting, scouting, whatever was called for. She turned her head back to Sorita and dipped it politely. “Thank you for your time, Sorita, but I think I should be getting on with my duties. I should be around camp if you need me.”
She got up to leave, pausing only to nod her head to her pack-mates. “Good morning.” She greeted pleasantly before taking her leave, a skip in her step as she padded back towards her den to finish sorting her herb inventory.

Grimsley
Part of Grimsley felt a little bit better knowing that the pup would be culled the moment he showed any hint of having Vigilance blood. Yet, there was always that possibility that the pup grew wise of his new pack’s potential plans and simply lied in order to save his own hide. This thought bothered the male, something that would probably drive him crazy until he knew the absolute truth about the pup’s origins. He emitted a low growl to voice his annoyance just as Haunt and Renn approached them.

“For his sake let us hope he doesn’t find himself alone in the meantime.” Grimsley said in a gruff, almost threatening voice. When he noticed that he and Kodix had company in the form of Renn and Haunt he decided to take his leave. He glanced at them for only a moment, his stony amber eyes narrowing before he continued on back towards his den. The fur that ran along his spine had bristled and he now moved with such a stiff rigidness that it would be clear to any onlookers that he wasn’t in a pleasant mood. And all this over a stupid little pup.

She trudged over to Sorita and Cinna, which was speaking to each other. "Hey, Sorita and Cinna." She woofed. The she-wolf dipped her head towards the alpha female.
