Oak laughed, biting an apple he found earlier that day. He was thinking about his crush, willow, and waiting for her to appear. He knew it might not happen, him and her, but he could hope. He trotted back to his den, a small cave, lined with leaves, and straw, and a grassy floor. Vines made it hidden, so he always liked it. It was near the great oak, where he was born, and where his mother died, so he always stopped there to think of her. She had abandoned him as a child.
He walked in, stopping outside of the cave to push aside some of the vines, and grabbed a few bits of food. He liked it, and that's how it was. He didn't think it would change.

Willow walked out from under the willow tree. She walked over to a small pond and got a apple from a nearby apple tree. She lied down next to the tree. She started slowly eating her apple. She lifted her head to sigh.

Cheshire trotted around the meadows wondering what to do. She yawned slightly and then galloped to a water hole. She took a few sips of the cool refreshing water and then galloped away, to find her brother.

Stitches looked at Cheshire and pawed the ground. He walked to a nearby oak tree and stood there in the shade, grazing. He looked at Cheshire and then looked off to the side,already bored.
