The arrogant stallion did not make chase. Spirit had successfully knocked the wind out of him, causing the stallion to stop to catch his breath. Cicatrix cursed himself under his breath, once he finally found it, before trotting in the opposite direction of Spirit. "Just keep running, honey!" Cicatrix yelled after her. "Might as well avoid all the stallions." Clearly embarrassed and upset, the stallion swished his tail angrily and trotted back to where his band of bachelors were whooping and hollering at him. So much for stallion of the year...

He stomped his back leg to scare the flies off as he pondered what to say next. ''I'm Walk On The Wild Side, but you can call me Prince. Can I ask what your name is?'' Prince drug his hoof through the soil as he quietly waited to hear the mare's reply.

Maybe other mares might like stallions like that but what she was looking for was someone less arrogant and more intelligent. At least so that they'd know when to shut his muzzle. She herself headed in the direction she had originally been going towards, though her pace was far more relaxed than it had been just moments prior.

Terza was about the size of a normal sized mare, but a little shorter. Her nostrils were bloody a but from the sun, the sun made it dry. This young mare has been traveling for awhile know, trying to find water, or atleast. A few spots of green grass, Terza kept walking intill she stopped. Spotting a river, she neighed loudly with joy, jumping in the air, bucking, and running into the river. On the other side, was, green grass. The mare smacked her lips together wanting some, she swam on the other side. And grazed for as long as possible.

Pepper wondered why this Stallion thought she might have been in a Herd. He better not be trying to ask if I'm taken. Otherwise he'll get what's coming to him. She thought, putting her guard up. She didn't show any sign of hostility to him though, not yet anyway. "My name is Pepper." She nickered, drawing away from the lake once more. "What's so surprising about me not being in a Herd anyway?" The black mare asked.

Thunder gave a drowsy snort as he awoke from his slumber. He had fallen asleep unexpectedly as he was travelling last night. His body must have reached its limit, and forced him to fall asleep. He blinked away the sleep from his eyes as he got to his hooves, stretching out his muscles. Thunder then set his eyes on a good patch of grass and began eating vigorously. As his mother always said: "If you want to grow big and strong, eat as much as you can!"

The white stallion was careful about his answer because it seemed like a touchy topic. ''I don't know, I just thought that most mares would be in a herd if they had the chance. At least that's what I learned from my experience,'' Prince nickered as he thought of the herd that he had. They were stolen from him by an older stallion and he had been trying to start another one ever since.

The paint stallion was travelling away from the river until he saw a mare walk past him and towards it. Cheveyo instantly turned back towards the river to see if the mare seemed to have any herd around. He didn't want to have to fight a stallion that day so he walked towards her once he was sure that there was no herd anywhere near them. Spirit Warrior neighed to make sure that his presence was announced as he walked towards the dappled mare. He had swam in the water, so the flies would stay away from him for a while now. ''Hello.''

Terza swam for a few more minutes, intill she herd a stallion come in. Had he smelled her sweet scent? The mare turned her head to look up at him, he was quite the handsome one, she pondered a few times. Quickly, the younger mare came out if the river, collapsing down on the ground with tiredness. Her nostrils opened up wide a few times, then she normally breathed threw it. The mare looked down at him, moving her tail between her legs.

Prince's response only made Pepper all the more wary. It was now obvious to her that this Stallion wanted to form a Herd, though he didn't seem like the type to force mares to be his mate. Still, looks could be deceiving, and the black mare was no fool when it came to love affairs. "Yeah, well I guess I'm the one-percent. If I'm ever to be in a Herd, I want a nice, clever stallion, not an arrogant one who acts like a bratty colt. I also want to have a little time to get to know that said stallion before finally falling in love with him." Pepper whinnied, pausing to give a short sigh. "But I suppose I'll never find love, considering most stallions these days are all in such a hurry to start a Herd." The black mare then turned her head towards the sky, her one brown eye twinkling in the sunlight while the blue one still hid behind her mane. After a moment, she her focus was back on Prince, an embarrassed look on her face. "Ha, sorry. I talk too much."

The white stallion preferred to court mares rather than try to snake the mares. They don't usually take to snaking very well and are so stubborn that they will not go towards wherever the stallion is herding them. He wasn't sure if the mare was suggesting that he was arrogant, but he was slightly offended. Prince would never let her know that though. Good luck to any stallion trying to get her to join a herd. He snorted, but kept the thought to himself. ''I don't mind you talking. It's actually nice to talk to someone. Do you come to this lake daily?'' Walk On The Wild Side was questioning the mare to see if he would be able to see her here again.

The paint stallion noticed that the mare didn't answer his question so he decided to introduce himself. ''I'm Spirit Warrior but you can call me Cheveyo. Where's your herd?'' He stomped his back left foot to get some of the flies off of his flank. The dampness from the water he had swam in was apparently not going to deter them from buzzing around him anymore. ''I'm currently a bachelor,'' he added slyly to the end as he spoke to the mare. It would be a good thing if she didn't have a herd. The stallion would probably be watching her if she was a part of a herd. ''I might start a herd of my own sometime.'' Cheveyo's tail swept from side to side.
