A faint whinny reaches the stallion's ears, making them perk and twist around to find the source of it. Titan looks around a bit as his mares chat for the moment, the sound was nagging at him for some reason, was it a bachelor out to steal his mares or a mare looking for a herd? He snorts and turns again as he hears another sound, a voice this time, a young curious voice that sounded rather feminine. It had to be a lone mare. Titan turns back to Vegas as his lead mare leans on him, his heart swells with the contact and deflates a bit when it's gone. His attention was still elsewhere, but he did hear Vegas when she mentions moving the herd and bumps his shoulder to gain his attention. Titan nods and motions towards the direction the voice had been coming from, "I'll be right back, my love, I heard something that demands my attention."
With a loving bump, Titan turns and trots the other direction towards the place the voice had been. It only took him a few moments to find the source of the voice and whinny, it was a young lone mare out on her own. He pauses for a split second, not sure if this young mare had a stallion tailing her, but figures she doesn't and heads closer. The old stallion whinnies to Gazer as he approaches her, his neck arched elegantly to display his strength and muscles. He tosses his head after a moment and comes to a slow stop before the young mare, his deep blood-bay coat wasn't at its best due to it's winter shagginess, but it was still rather impressive. Titan nickers to Gazer as he stands a few feet from her, "Hello there, are you in need of a herd? If you are, I'd be happy to offer my own for you to join."╔══════════╗

The old stallion sees Miss's hesitation and understands it as well, no mare wants their colt around an unknown stallion, especially one as large and powerful as himself. Archangel nickers to the mother as well as Shatter, trying to show that he really doesn't mean any harm to either of them. The old boy moves his leg when the mare finally allows her young colt to join him, making room for his small body. The colt's clacking teeth only amuses the old stallion, it has been a while since he has heard such a sound. He tucks the young foal against his warm furred side and pulls his legs up around him to make a little cocoon of warmth for the colt. His small shivering frame was tiny compared to his massive size, but it was clear in the way the old stud looks at the colt that he means no harm, he only wants to care for him and not kill him. Archangel looks over to Miss and gives a warm nicker, "He is safe with me, none will harm him while I still breathe."
Archangel looks over to the other two mares who have joined him, a warm smile on his lips as Lea says she will stay with him, "As you wish, we will move to a sheltered cove I know of once this little one is warmed up." He glances down at the young colt he was warming, but he doesn't miss the pain-filled look on Lea's face when she saw the colt next to him. Archangel chooses to stay silent on the matter until later when he can speak to her in private, her pain shouldn't be called out so publicly. He turns his attention to Clear as the young filly speaks as well, and nods his head as she mentions that everyone needs an Angel. When she speaks of another stallion he looks like, his ears perk up curiously as she says what the stallion's breed is, "I know of many Shire crosses, many of them are my own blood, but the only one closest to this area is my grandson Castiel."Moon pool wrote:Picking up the pace to a trot Strike of Angered wolf urged the mare forward. The mare snorted, filly really, still just a filly, and squealed softly a little bit as she looked up in the direction of the somewhat small looking herd. She snorted and shook her head and mane as she nickered to herself before glancing up again. She squealed softly as she kicked her hooves up then glanced up as she heard the sound of a horses hooves and lifted her head a bit more for a better view. She snorted and nickered as she softly said "Hello." She nodded her head a bit as she took in a breath at the view of the handsome creature before her, then blew it back out again slowly. The filly smiled and hummed, giving a soft and gentle sort of snorting sound as she looked at the stallion and appeared to make a humming sort of type sound. She nodded at the stallion and smiled as she spoke up again. "And you are an Angel." she said and nearly giggled as she shook her head. She softly said "Oh! Yes, that is he. He was apparently captured by those humans, he was bred to my mother to have Gazer, and then she was bred to my father to have me. We were born a year apart. I believe he escaped with mother, my father, and a couple others. Sounds a bit strange, at least to humans, multiple stallions in one herd..."
