Nyx smiled with pride in her and ran to grab the trophy. He clamped he jaws shut on the doe's hind leg, with him carrying one end and Lilac the other, he led them up the fields towards the den sight. Trying to get the doe there in one piece but also trying to avoid any run in with the Chimera. He lifted the doe as high as he could off the ground o that it would not slow them down so much. Eventually they arrived at the line for their territory. He paused for a moment and set down the doe. " Lets rest for a second, we can not afford to loose too much of our strength" They sat in some shade amongst the woods. It was starting to get later in the day so Nyx was egar to finish the hike home and get everyone fed.

Lilac huffed as she set down the doe. She nodded to Nyx. "Yes, we need our rest if we are going to bring this doe all the way back to the camp." She looked at the earth surrounding her. The forest was a lush green, and many flowers covered the ground. She tilted her head as she saw movement to the left of her eye. She noticed something hovering in the clear air next to her. It was a hummingbird. It's bright green and blue pattern illuminated Lilac's eyes. She valued moments like this, where even the simplest of things filled her with joy. She watched the creature as it gracefully fluttered away. Still in awe, she turned to Nyx. "Ready?" She clamped the deer's hind leg in her jaw. "We should get back before dark." She managed to get the words out, while still caring the doe.

Nyx nodded his headed and grabbed the deers hind leg and headed towards camp with lilac. He could feel himself getting more tired as they got closer to the den sites. Once they finally arrived he set down the carcas unto the kill pile. "Lilac please spread the word about the meal I will prepare a speacal treat for everyone." He dismissed her and made his way to his den and looked through small piles of herbs he kept around for a variety of occasions. he grabbed some sage and rosemary and his way back to the caucus. He sprinkled the herbs all over the newly filleted doe.

Bullet wearily opened his eyes. The sun poured into his den, momentarily blinding him. He looked around his surroundings before sluggishly getting up and stretching. He yawned and shook his fur, as if trying to wake himself up. Bullet walked out of his den and sat down at the entrance enjoying the sun on his pelt. He had overslept and all of the other wolves were already awake. He looked to his left and saw Rain grooming his fur. He smirked and started padding over to the fae. He sat down next to her, unaware that half his fur on his face was flattened from him laying on it. "Whatcha doin' there?" He asked her in a sarcastic, playful tone.

Rain looked up at the the black brute, who seem to have just awaken due to the way his hair was on his face. She gave a small smile and nodded her head in greeting "Hello Bullet." She said softly, her voice soft and sweet as she spoke. "I'm just cleaning my paws." She added then slowly stretched her front legs by extending them out in front of her. "Did you just wake up?" She asked, motioning to the fur on his face with a slight nod. She slowly sat up and wrapped her white tail around her paws then looked at Bullet with her dark amber eyes and perked her ears towards the brute.

Ares watched the brute as he spoke to her, wondering what he was about and why he was so calm. Sometimes the Fae wondered why the pack was so obedient and attentive to her, but at the same time, she could care less why because she liked it that way, she liked running her pack and she believed that obedience made them a stronger team. "Alright, get you water and move along. I expect a complete report of the lines as soon as possible. I need to assemble the hunters, I feeling a bit peckish." SHe dismissed herself from the conversation and turned away respectfully, making her way to the den sight, which was just near the stream.

Jace nodded his head then watched as she walked back towards the camp. He slowly turned and continued on his way towards the stream. Once he arrived, the black brute looked for any signs of other creatures roaming around like a deer getting a drink or even a loner that might want to join. He didn't notice anything out of the ordinary so he edge closer to the bank then lowered his head to the water. He lapped up the cool water, feeling it coat his dry throat then lifted his head and gave a relaxing sigh. After a few moments, Jace turned towards the borders so that he could go on patrol.

Bullet nodded to the white fae. "Yeah, I guess I overslept a little." He said, his voice still sounding funny due to just waking up. He flashed a small smile to her. "Sleep well?" He asked Rain, trying to make conversation. He caught the she-wolfs amber gaze as the sun hit is golden eyes, making them appear lighter than normal. He paused for a moment, still locking eyes, and realized he could scent fresh kill. His tummy rumbled at the thought of food. "Lunch? I suppose." He smirked and stretched his neck, as if looking for sight of the fresh kill. He tasted the air more clearly and sighed relief. "Ahh, deer. I could go for some deer right now. Couldn't you?" He searched Rains eyes for an answer.

Rain couldn't help but smile at the brutes voice, it was somewhat adorable. She nodded her "Yes, I slept fine." She said happily then looked as Nyx and Lilac came in with a doe. She looked back up at the brute and nodded her head again "I believe so. Well at least its better then my lonely rabbit I caught early this morning." She said pointing her muzzle towards the plump rabbit. Her ears pointed towards the brute as she heard the sound of his stomach growling and held back a small laugh "Yes actually. I could go for a deer right about now." She agreed with a smile.

Ares padded her way into the den sight. Looking for a sign of anyone else around. " Where is everyone?" She howled. She was becoming greatly agitated and her empty stomach was not helping her mood any. She began looking through the dens for the rest of her pack. Though she was irritated, she thought about Jace's loyalty and considered commending him. She was not the type to appreciate the pack, she though that they should not be awarded for doing the things they were supposed to do already. But Jace had been there first thing and she liked that.

"ah, bullet. Rain. Why don't you help yourselves to a share but remember to lease enough for everyone " Nyx smiled at them in a welcoming tone. He let them grab some of what they wanted and soon enough he joined in, gnawing on a bit of breast meat and enjoying spending time with the pack members. He stood up and licked his lips, cleaning himself off so that he wouldn't look quite so sloppy. A small puddle had built up by the meeting grounds in the den sight, from the rains that recently came upon the territory. Nyx slowly padded over to the puddle, just a few feet from the kill pile, and lapped up a few swallows. Just enough to quench his thirst and clean off his muzzle a bit more.

Jace circling the border a couple of times and not seeing anything out of the ordinary or didn't catch any scents from loners or enemy pack members that had crossed over. The black brute finally turned his direction back towards the camp, his ears perked at the faint howl coming from the camp. He picked up speed and padded quickly back. He made it back to the camp and looked around only to find Ares still the only one up or in camp. He sighed and slowly made his way back to his den and sat down, looking at his alphess, wondering what she was going to do now.

Rain looked over at Nyx and nodded her head "Yes sir." She said softly and stood up. She shook her pearly white pelt and started to walk towards the deer but she looked back to Bullet "You coming?" she asked softly. She continued to the doe and started to eat what she could. Rain knew that she shouldn't eat until she was full since it would make her sluggish if she went out hunting again or even if she went out for a run. She ate until she was satisfied before moving away to let the others have room to eat. She went back to her spot outside her den then started to clean her muzzle and paws of any blood that had gotten on her white pelt.

Bullet slyly smiled. "Well if you asked me, I would say that the rabbit was a splendid catch." He looked at Rain for a moment before turning towards the doe. "It looks like it's fair game now." He said rising to his feet. He dipped his head as Nyx approached him and Rain. He licked his lips as Nyx said to help himself. He was quite hungry. "Thank you Nyx, I will be sure to leave enough behind so that everyone else may get their fair share." Bullet nodded to Rain and followed her over to the doe, their steps in sync with each others. He picked out a decent piece of meat. He dug into it with full force, relishing in the wonderful taste. He swiped his paw over his mouth in an attempt to clean off his face. He looked over at Rain for a quick second before finishing off the rest of the meat. "I would say that has to be the best deer I've had in a long time!" He commented on the doe to Rain.

Lilac respectfully nodded to Nyx as he asked her to spread the word. Once he had padded away, she began to look for wolves to tell the news to. She notified multiple wolves before turning to the doe, and deciding to go for a bite. Their was still plenty for the pack and saw no harm in taking any. She grabbed a piece of meat from the doe's thigh. She walked over to a shady tree, and chowed down on the fresh kill. She smiled as the food settled in her belly, it had still been warm and it tasted divine. She looked across the camp, causally noticing the whole pack eating. She felt satisfied and happy that she could help the pack.

Rain continued to lick her white lips, trying to remove any crimson stain that she got from feeding. She smiled at Bullet "It's the freshest that I have had in awhile." She replied before he continued cleaning but this time her paws. She wasn't the type to idealize her coat but she did she did prefer to have it clean. She was fine with dirt here and there and the occasional mud splatters but not blood due to the iron scent can scare off any prey that might catch a whiff of it. Rain finished cleaning and smiled, she was ready for another hunt but knew that the pack was fine with the fresh doe and rabbit that had been caught. She looked around before resting her eyes on Bullet. She was rather surprised, now that she thought of it, that he was actually talking to someone other then Lilac. Rain knew that the dark brute was the quiet type and from what she could tell had some trouble with making friends. But the white fae was glad that he trusted her enough to come and talk with her even if this would be the only time they will talk.
