MothKit awoke with a small yawn. She opened her big green eyes, blinking in the brightness of the sun. With a small sneeze, she rolled onto her tummy. MothKit looked up to see two big cats towering over her. The brown one smelled familiar. She recognized it as her mother. 'What about the other?' she thought.

StarPelt sighed. "Follow me." he growled.

ShadowStrike took a deep breath, enjoying the fresh hair blowing into the nursery. Opening his eyes, he look down to discover MothKit had awaken. He guided his tail down FallowFern's side until it rested on MothKit's back. His emerald eyes highlighted a broad, proud, loving smile. "Hey there, little one..."

[Cake.]

MothKit tilted her head. "Hi..." she mewed cautiously.

Thornclaw was finally tired of her eye bothering her. She restlessly got up and climbed out of the dip, going to try and get her mind off of it.

He smiled lightly, blinking before he added, "I'm your daddy."

[Cake.]

MothKit moved closer, blinking. "Oh. That's cool." she said softly.

[SolJudicator]

ShadowStrike inhaled deeply, congratulating with his warm, low voice, "Welcome to the world young one."

EchoKit awoke to two gentle voices, one just over him and the other snuggling next to him. He immediately recognized his mother and pressed closer to her. His eyes still felt heavy as he yawned, scratching curiously at his mother's paw, not a care in the world.

[Cake.]

FallowFern looked down at her kits, purring softly. She slowly ran her tail down ShadowStrike's back, smiling to him.

MothKit curled against her father's side, closing her eyes. Her mother felt too... safe. She liked being close to her father, and she'd only just met him.

ShadowStrike nestled into his nook of his mate's neck. He purred in FallowFern's ear as he set a gentle paw on MothKit's shoulder.

EchoKit looked up into his mother's eyes, purring into her breast. Mom.... he thought. She was so warm. And it seemed the big cat above him thought so too.
