Making a sound almost like a scream, Goldpaw leaped forward and landed neatly on Rosie's back. Her jaws clamped down on her neck, and her claws dug into Rosie's sides.

Dusk jumped forwards, snarling deeply as he neared Rosie and Goldpaw. His jaws closed around Rosie's front paw, glaring up at her as if to snap it.

Rosie shoved her paw down Dusks throat.She too it back out and then clawed GoldPws eyes. Feeling the tight loosen she slipped free and jumped back. " Watch your backs." She said and bolted into the forest, like she didnt even have a scratch on her. When Rosie was far enough away she started to limp and took a nap.

Bronte looked into his eyes, they were gentle. She blushed and got out of his way, still looking at him. Her eyes melted when she looked into his eyes.

Goldpaw lay on the ground, mostly uninjured but shocked and breathless.

Dusk let his body relax after Rosie raced into the woods, his tail falling back down and his teeth covered again. "Coward." He spat before turning towards Bronte and Polaris. "We need to bury Hail and then get on with securing the borders again." Dusk barked sharply at the two, ignoring the obvious signals from his female beta. "You alright Goldpaw?" Dusk asked, his voice going almost down to a whisper as he gazed at her with concerned amber orbs.

Bronte looked at Dusk, " Sure thing, so where are we going to bury hail?" She said, her voice sad but serious.

Goldpaw didn't answer for a moment, and then finally struggled to get up. Once on her knees, she looked up at him. "I'm fine...I think. What about you?" She continued rising, a little bit at a time.

Dusk nudged Goldpaw's shoulder lightly before offering her a hint of a smile. "I'm fine." Dusk then looked up at Bronte for a moment before sighing. "Bury him at his old den site." He said and then looked at Polaris. "And Polaris, we need to talk when you are done." Dusk
