The fur on Annuk's shoulders relaxed as she responded nonaggressively. "Where am I at?" she asked. She had gone on rides before but not as long as this one had been and not as long. Her sisters and brother had been along for those to.

"You are at are humans' home. His name is Carson,"Alaska replied calmly before her eyes widen before going back to normal looking at her softly. She walked over to Annuk nuzzling the little pup."This is your new home,"She whispered. She had realized it when she had asked meaning her parents did not tell her.

Annuk looked up at her but didn't say anything as she tried to absorb what she just learned. She slowly looked down at the floor shock making her confused as she tried to deny what she had just heard. "Why? Didn't my old humans want me anymore?" She had always sensed a certain amount of pride and excitement coming off of them. They had always treated her nice.

"Of course! But, sometimes they don't have space so, they give you too new humans who will treat you the same or even better!,"Alaska replied trying to cheer Annuk up. She remembered when she had first came to here she was alone and afraid.SHe didn't have anyone to tell her. But, it would be different for the little one.She would help her adjust.

[sorry for the delay!]
Sierra was still slightly cold, so she shuffled closer to Chess, pretending to shiver more than she actually was.
But, she was good at acting, so it didn't look like she was faking. She shivered again, trying to get Chess to snuggle with her.

herro der mes amis, i am believe. proud canadian, ottb loving, colt breaking, nfr dreaming. pictured on the left is my racetrack reject, landofmakebelieve, aka molly, moo, shmoo, whatever name comes to mind x] molly is a 10 year old canadian bred thoroughbred mare, and standing at about 16.2hh, we look a little wonky when we chase cans, but la dee da that's alright. molly and i tried several disciplines. i tried desperately to get her to catch on to dressage, but unfortunately, she still has the race bred mind and is all go. however, together we found a discipline which we could both enjoy; western gaming. this summer we started travelling to barrel races locally. our current record on a standard size pattern is 17.314 and we are improving with every run. and to all the low budget barrel racers out there such as myself, a word of advise; chin up darling. you may not have a million dollar mount under your butt, but you and your crossbred, rejected, hard headed, rescue baby can do it. you know why? cause those girls sitting in their custom circle y's, upon shiny, top of the line mounts are full of themselves. they think there's no way they can lose. they get cocky. stay humble, believe in yourself, in your horse, and most importantly ride your little heart out.

Sierra smiled and shuffled closer to him, "Erm, yeah, I was bred and raised in a warmer climate. Like, Canada U.S. border climate, but then came here to be trained, then sold to Carson," She shimmied as close as she could to him. It was true, this was a colder climate than she was used to, but no too much colder. But she still rejoiced in her victory of snuggling with the handsome brute.
