New Moon
New Moon climbs out of the bed of dead leaves she conjured up for herself, stretching tiredly with a yawn. She was still tired, after a day of traveling as an on-the-go loner--but she wanted to confront the alphas of the pack that lived in the territory she was in before nightfall. Looking up, however, she saw how low the sun was. Already, the horizon was reddening.
I can just spend the night by this rock. She thought. Her fur was naturally thick by genetics, and she trusted she wouldn't be too cold. The stone provided a good amount of shelter and she could snuggle in with the pile of leaf litter that had been transported by the wind, stuck by the rock's base to form a slowly-building pile. She turned her head and looked to where she knew the pack's camp was. It was close--she could smell the scents of many wolves nearby. A bit too close for comfort when sleeping alone. They shouldn't bother me. She thought, and if they do--I'll kill them, simple as that. She had confidence in her all-life training from a pup as a warrior and Alpha in her old pack.
There was a rustling to her right as a small rabbit made the mistake of showing itself in the open, rummaging about for food before the colder winter months. New Moon crept up behind it silently before pouncing, delivering a brief killing bight before carrying her catch back to the rock. After enjoying a late meal, she discarded the left overs by tossing them away and swept a pile of dead Autumn leaves around her as the light of the rising moon slowly covered the darkening world in a blueish hue.

Shadow
Shadow trotted back into her den, to find Midnight standing over the pups, "Where's Twilight?" She whimpered and sniffed around, her hackles slowly rising. "The platinum pack, I should have protected them they are more important then my hunger, Midnight, can you please keep an eye on the pups, I will get Twilight back." She trotted off her nose on the ground trying to follow the scent before the snow covered the track completely.
Rusty
Rusty yipped when he felt Twilight ripped away from, him.

Twilight yelped and struggled for her Mother, before stopping completely as she was taken outside in the cold. She waited for her Mother to take her away from the new wolf but she couldn't.
Dusty
Dusty laid in his warm den and curled up to keep warm, but sat upright when he heard the yelp of a pup, he peeked outside his den to see Dusk holding a small black pup with a rust-colored muzzle. He trotted to her and sniffed it cautiously, stepping back when he recognized the familiar scent on the pup. This wasn't a lost pup, it was his sister's pup, but she was dead, wasn't she?
