Ume nodded. "Uh, right." He said. Padding after her. He wagged his tail as he walked. Sailor Ume believed if he acted Happy, he'd be happy, and make others around him happy. He's followed that rule since he was a pup. it was something his mother taught him

sophia walked along in silence down the sidewalk, which was practically deserted from humans. she looked over her shoulder every once and a while to see sailor still following, wagging his tail. turning back around, she then saw the city park loom above them. she took a breath as she crossed the isolated street, over near the side-walk leading to the park where she waited for sailor. she called over to him, "don't worry about humans being in the park; i learned that they don't like the bugs out here in this time, such as mosquitoes. and if there are any, they won't take heed to us much, since some of them might think we're dogs who belong to people who let us walk around the park."

Sailor nodded. Sitting down. He swayed back and fourth to the sounds of crickets chirping. And the occasional random buzzing bug that drowned out the crickets. "Okay. Sounds good." He said. Quickly frowning. He set down the bag and yawned. "Where should we sleep? Just.. in the grass?" He asked. "Or? " He looked around the park. Seeing a puddle get disturbed by a bug jumping onto the water.

sophia shook her head, nudging him back to his paws. "nope, i'll show you. picks up your bag of sweets and follow me. it's not much of a walk." she then turned around and padded into the park, avoiding trees and bushes and her paws making crunching noises in the grass as she walked. the moon was already starting to glow ahead as she looked up. suddenly, they arrived by the lake in the park. a large, stretch of silver water that glowed under the moon's shine. surrounding the lake, was soft grass. sophia settled down on the grass and said to sailor, "we'll sleep here. it's nice and comfortable underpaw, plus it's not so dark where if you wake up in the middle of the night, you won't fall on your snout."

Sailor picked up the bag. Following Sophia. Feeling the soft and slightly just slightly damp grass on his paws, he sat down. "Wow. Its.. just.. wow." Ume, speechless, fell over. The moonlight was just stunning over the water. He set the bag of food down, and yawned. "How often do you come here?" He asked.

sophia raised an eyebrow when he sat down and randomly fell over. she then responded calmly to him, "my foster mother and i used to come here and watch the moon shine over the water. after she died, i stopped coming here, mostly because it brought back bad memories, and more dog catchers lurked about. however, it's a good place to rest; it's calm, quiet, and comfortable, unlike the junkyard." she stretched out in the grass, resting her muzzle on her paws.

Sailor smiled. "That sounds... nice." He nodded. Lying down, he thought about.. stuff. Just... stuff. Things that made him happy, things that made him sad, ect. He wiggled his nose as a few fish jumped up in the water, and made a small 'splash' noise.

sophia watched the fish jump out of the lake's surface before remarking quietly to sailor, "i'm going to bed. 'night, sailor." she closed her eyes as the wind blowed into her pelt, ruffling her fur as the gentle shades of sleep soared her away.

"N-Night, Soph." He said. Abbreviating her name. He slowly looked around, soon, he fluttered his eyes shut. Slowly falling asleep he'd give a soft snore every once in awhile.

"Hmm, nice name." He said as he stood straight and tall, his metal collar clinging as he walked "Rabbits, deer maybe..." he said with a smile as he walked by her side "Let's go to find rabbits." He said.
