Willow felt herself being picked up and she continued to sleep. She went into a superhero like pose in her dream of her tripping and falling. Turns out she was doing it in real life to.

Dyson nodded again, taking in all the information.
"I do." He closed his eyes, and started to regulate his breathing. I am going to enter her dream, and I will talk with her. He told himself. I am going to enter her dream, and I will talk with her. I will enter her dream, and I will talk with her. The old wolf imagined the pup's face, focusing on it just as it had been in the pool.


OOC: What's next? Is it just like when El tracks people, so it's just darkness all around them?

Lolan nodded. "Remember to keep something in Starris in your subconscious," He reminded him. "That’s a huge key factor. And just relax." He could see some tension in the old wolf. Tension would only make it more difficult. Not impossible, but certainly more difficult, and that wouldn’t be ideal.

"Be it a face, a voice, or a place here, keep your subconscious busy as well. Then and only then will you be able to enter little Denae's dreaming mind." He could admire this wolf, Dyson. He’d heard the risks. He had no idea his own strength here, up in Starris, but he’d been willing to try anyway. Many wolves would not.

Grace heard the sounds and instructions from inside the family's den. Kai and Mano were outside, a little bit away. Had they been ejected from the den for a while while Lolan worked? Well, he certainly wouldn’t think of ejecting his own mate and a sleeping Pup. She decided, and if he had problems with that, then he could take it up with her personally. The black and white form of Sariel, she recognized. The male who spoke with Lolan, she did not, but her blood chilled and she shivered at the sound of her mate's words.

He’s trying to have the male ground himself. He’s...teaching him to dreamwalk. Grace had never tried, and never intended to. She was mostly dire wolf, she was big, fast, and strong, but she was not willing to take such high risks when there were wolves who needed her. Carefully, Grace lay Willow down in the thick, mossy nest and settled next to her, grateful that so far, Lolan either hadn’t noticed them, or hadn’t been bothered by their presence.

She squeaked as she moved around on the mossy bedding and curled closer to Grace and she was still surprisingly sleeping. She splayed out on the bedding and let the fall and rise of her chest coax her deeper into sleep.

Grace licked Willow's ear gently. "Shhhh..." Lolan was trying to work, and dreamwalking was serious business no matter HOW someone looked at it. Focus was required. The she-wolf lay down on her side, drawing the sleeping Pup in closer for warmth. This one needed as much warmth as possible, if she had died of frostbite, of all things.

OOC: I forgot you haven't seen Stranger Things, sorry! El is one of the characters, and one of the things she can do is track people with her mind, if she knows what they look like. When she does, it brings her to this black void type thing, with only her and the person she was tracking, as well as any objects said person interacts with. There's also a reflective layer of water on the ground of this void, and it looks really cool:

OOC: I do picture it would kind of be like that once he’s actually accessed the mind, yes. Denae should be a fairly easy one to access.

She quieted down and she felt the warmth return to her body. She was still sleeping and she curled into a ball and she snorted as her tail tickled her nose.

Seeing the figures of her fallen sons approaching, one still with the fluff of a Pup despite his chronological age of almost eight years old, and one the form of a wolf almost a full-grown adult, Grace's heart hurt. They had been far too young to have come here. Both their sons had come to Starris before them, and then only a short time ago, their final surviving son's days had come to an end, and Acero had come to join them as well, though so far, he had not opted to come join the rest of his family in their den. The brownish figure of the juvenile stopped right in front of them, and his eyes flicked down to the sleeping form of Willow before up at his mother again.

"She’s asleep, Kai. Don’t wake her. She'll wake in her own time." Her son was not known for his silence, but to his credit, he made no sound now. Grace gently groomed back Willow's fur, doing her best for the strokes of her tongue to be gentle and light, and not to disturb her more than was necessary.

Dyson took one large deep breath as his mind slipped into Denae's. His claws dug into the dirt of Lolan's den, but he barely felt it. This is for you, Alita... Suddenly, he opened his eyes, and he was in some kind of... void. There was darkness all around him, and underneath him, but somehow he still stood. He looked up, and saw the form of another wolf. That's Denae...
