Hailstorm lowered his body and slowed his steps. "I see moose," he whispered, his eyes glued on the large bull moose that browsed lazily only a few hundred yards ahead.

Dusk lowered his head, sinking slowly to the ground with his ears perked forwards as he stared, amazed at the massive bull before them. "Think we can take it?" He asked softly, glancing over at him with a small devilish flash in his devious eyes before he turned them back to the moose. Something like that would feed them for at least a week.

"Oh sure." Moving quickly, silently, and steadily, Hailstorm slowly stalked closer to the moose. It was dead meat.

Dusk smiled and started forwards, quietly and stealthily. He wove through the brush, eyes fixed solely and only on the moose.

Once they were close, Hailstorm snarled and leaped at the beast, flying towards its throat. He landed on a good spot, his teeth tearing into the animal's neck.

Dusk jumped forwards, landing a blow on the moose's hindquarters. The angered bull responded by thrashing his head around and kicking out with his hooves, on clipping Dusk on the shoulder. He fell back before getting to his feet as quickly as he could. A downed wolf was a dead wolf. Dusk flashed his fangs again and snapped at the bull's ankles.

Hailstorm ground his teeth, searching for the moose's jugular.
