Seeing the signal, he pushed off with his hind legs as he bounded forward. Streaking across the ground, he reached the deep and managed to bite it's back leg. However, it suddenly kicked out and he lost his hold, causing the hoof to make contact with his nose. Yelping, he took a small step back as it stung for a moment. Noticing Frost on the deers back and Bullet biting at its side, he saw his chance. The animal made him no mind as it was too busy trying to fend off the other two. Leaping forward, his teeth dank into its neck and he used his weight to pull it's head down. Growling, he refused to let go and hoped Frost would be able to reach the back of its neck now.

She let out a small laugh,"Russet never uses titles. Ever since he came to our pack he hasn't. I was just a small pup when he showed up, but I doubt he means any disrespect as he always says that he owes the Alpha his life."

"I don't see why we have to call him by such a formal title when he isn't around. After all, it is his name. If I was Alpha, I would want to still be called Russet......but I don't want to be Alpha. Too much work and decisions to make." He moved to walk next to Swan. "Not to mention, I wouldn't want the ladies fighting over me just to become Alpha female."

Hearing the loner speak, she lifted her head and let out a growl. "And why would a loner want to take pups with her?" She may not like pups but she knew they were vital to keep the pack going. They were the foundation for the future after all. "Also, we can handle our pups just fine. Rather a bad decision to just walk into our camp like this."
