- Finding Finnegan
Brishen eyed the German Shepherd with graditude before chowing down on the hamburger. She nodded at his words, but didn't really hear the first part. Finnegan... she thought to herself after finishing her sandwich and rolling on her back to sunbathe. She thought about the Shepherd for a while. His kindness was one thing, but he didn't mind her awkwardness either. She was happy she met this male.
After a while of lying there, Brishen realized she never said thanks. She bounced onto her feet and tried to think of where he could be. Something about a hotel? Yeah, the hotel is where she would go.
Brishen cautiously entered the Promenade again, this time confident of where she was going. People ran into her and she had to avoid too many feet to count, but she managed. She decided she hated the Promenade, too.
At the hotel, Brishen waited in the front. Was he inside? She waited at the door and growled in frustration, remembering the night at her house when she had to do the same thing. No one was coming, she was sure of it. So she went around back. There, eating once again, was Finnegan. Brishen wagged her tail and said, a little louder than her last hello, "Hello, again." She smiled and continued talking "I havent some to steal your food again, just to say thanks for the burger. Also since you seem the know your way around, I was hoping I stick with you for a while? If not that's okay I just..." She realized she was babbling, something she did when she got nervous. She stayed quiet then, not trusting herself to talk anymore.
