I do so hope that the large hunt will be more successful than I predict this small one to be," she murmured softly, her brown eyes soft as she bowed to him, walking back to the pack. "Hunters, it's time to hunt," she yipped, her voice sharper now as she awoke. There was nothing overly demanding or sharp about the small African Wild Dog, but when giving orders, her voice would often go up in pitch, resulting in a harsher tone, though no one was awake yet, and it was best to hunt early before Hyenas woke up.Name: Nikita

{ name } Kali ; Aye, yes yes the names Kali. Pronounced Kah-leeee. My morther gave me this name at birth, this very name used to belong to my grand mother. Kali is a Swahili name that means "fierce" ; but my name can also mean energetic and beautiful. Pffft, energetic yes, but I don't consider myself beautiful.
{ gender } Female
{ sexuality } Straight ; Meaning I am attracted towards males.
{ rank } Subordinate hunter ; It might say that I am and Subordinate - which is correct - I don't tend to like it when others make me submit.
{ personality description } Curious | Energetic | Aggressive | Intelligent | Sarcastic | Loyal ; Even I know that I'm curious with things, I ain't one of those shy blooded dogs who backs off from something new. I like to be daring once in a while... but as they say Curiosity killed the cat but I am not cat, perhaps the odds are in my favor then hmm? I tend to be rather friendly with selected members of the pack and I stick with them, and I only tend to be friendly with them. Oh, I was called a ball of energy as a pup - I never seem to get tired when hunting, or even playing. Every dog can be aggressive and yes I happen to be on whom is renowned for being aggressive. I don't want to say that I'm really clever but I can be useful and tactical with things plotting the best ways for our life's sake. Ohyes, Snappy am snappy. I don't think I need to say anymore about it, heh? I do have a mild humor so my jokes tend to be rather insults. As that I am female does mean I have a caring side, mostly towards her friends and if she had a mate and pups towards them. Most dogs like myself, are renowned to be loyal most of us are I could say that I am at times...?
{ your story } The usual story ; Well yes my past story Is rather boring, nothing that amazing I might say but times in my life have been quiet drastic. I was born in a litter of four, to my mother - Lala - and my father - Bane . I was the oldest of litter, I had two brothers and a sister. In the early days of being alive on this planet on of my brothers died, just leaving three. The tribe of dogs that I grew up in had a rule that if the pups lived past several week, there where aloud to be given there names from the parents. In the several weeks they could understand our personality's better to get a better suiting name. My sister was named Boo, and my brother was named Rune. I was given the name Kali for either being energetic, fierce or beautiful. Whatever one of the name definitions is true, or it could be all three? I have no idea my mother never told me. Well, she never had the chance to. Because when I was a ruffly a year old she was shot - by a poacher - my father told us because the up-walker was one of those creatures that kills for fun and never has no end to the bite of the shot gun. Me being the eldest I became the watcher for my Boo and Rune, Boo was the smallest and she was my best friend ever. She always called me white fur, because Ironically I have a lot of white pigment on my coat. Boo always lived up to her name, she was very good at sneaking up on others, such a trouble maker she was. Six months after my mothers death, the up walkers came back, killing most of the pride. My father, was one of those who was uncounted for. Only me and my sister Boo, where left. Two out of a pack of ten, ten dogs dead. Our friends and family, dead. I can remember the day quiet well, it was the day that Boo, Rune and myself went out down to the river side alone and we caught everyone a zebra and took it home, we never meant to bring dinner back for the pack, we only wanted to swim around in the water ; but the Zebra's came it was like a game of cat and mouse. Anyway, we had all settled down for our meal it was approaching sunset. Most of the carcass was gone and we began our journey back to camp. Boo, Rune and I where messing around, and went off into the grass lands close to camp. We heard gun shots, a chilling remind of our mothers death. We where out in the open, not covered by tall grass but only grass that ticked your belly, those creatures came chasing after us. We didn't want to lead them back to camp but Rune ran towards camp. He was foolish, me and my sister - Well, Boo was going to follow but I had to pull her off into the long grass where those creatures would never find us. We hid, for sometime listening to the loud thundering sounds that lasted almost forever. I knew they where looking for us, you could hear them shouting to one another asking 'where on earth did those two go!' I knew they where going to find us, but they never did. I think it was my mother protecting me. I told Boo that to calm her senses. Dusk was settling in and the fowl scent was lifted into the air. Curiously we came back to camp to see the after math of the event. Bodies of our friends and family mauled across camp wasn't the best site to see. It was honestly heart breaking to see. I never aloud myself to cry, Boo on the other hand broke down into tear. We walked around all of the bodies, cleaned them and left them in a sleeping position as if they where just sleeping.. We came to the body of a farther, this is where it was tough for the both of us. But we licked all the blood off his aged coat and rested him in a laying pose. The bodies where all over the place, non of the pack made it out into the grass. Our brother was the one hardest to find, we came across his body where it had fell. He had slid off one of the rocks that the lead dog normally stands on, he lay in a heap but we assisted to his body laying him besides my farther. We gazed at our pack, eyes read as the night was slowly approaching. Our brother had did this. Why he never run. Why. He killed them. We went around all of there bodies and nuzzled each one of them, before giving our last fare well telling them how sorry they are for not being there. Boo and I left, running far away into the night. Trying to stay out of danger. Trying not to think about the hard parts of our past.. we had lived alone for unknown time. A year. I had left my sister with a tribe that we had grown attached to, she was in safe hands with them. I left, coming here a year ago. Well, maybe my story ain't that usual, but you can chose.
{ kin } Unknown ; Most of them our all dead, Only my sister Boo is alive, but she went off with a tribe that I left her with, I knew she was in safe hands. I hope I will see here again one day. [ plot alert ]
{ crush } None ; No male has caught my eye, so I have no fancy of one but I guess we all have out little secrets.
{ mate } None ; I would have a crush on someone before they became my mate obviously, and right now love ain't one of my best interests, but like everyone's dream is to grow up settle down with a mate and have pups when it's my turn I have no idea.
{ pups } None ; ....
{ anything else? } None ; [ I'll be bringing Kali's sister Boo into the story at a later plot if thats okay? ]

She went to bend down to get a drink when something caught her eye. Two eyes atop a log were quite out of the ordinary, as a log of any kind was rather odd in the oasis, as the water source was unknown to her. The log did not move- however, she did back up from the water, never taking her eyes off of the "log". "Fasi? Klein?" she called out, her voice going up in pitch, not out of authority, but this time, out of a bit of fear. The only reasoning she could come up with was a stray crocodile must have found the oasis and called it home. She couldn't even think of where the nearest river was, and the long trek would only make the beast hungrier.Name: Nikita

She was shaking ever so slightly as she glared at the crocodile in front of her, who seemed to be getting closer, though she could not tell for certain. She whipped around when the footsteps got too close for her liking, before she realized it was Fasi and Klein. "Get her out of here, now," she hissed, freezing once more as she caught the crocodile out of the corner of her eye. "There's a rogue crocodile in the water. I don't know where he came from or why he's here, but she would make a perfect snack," she whimpered, her tail quivering as her ears swiveled to try and attempt to hear the crocodile swim, though she heard no sound.Name: Nikita

She continued to growl, watching the crocodile thrash around in pain. She wracked her brain for anything she knew, but she was merely drawing up a blank. "I suppose we know why it was such a quiet morning- everyone was smarter than we were," she muttered under her breath, embarrassed and shamed she had not been more watchful. She watched with a careful eye, tracking the crocodile's movements.Name: Nikita
