        hello, have we met?
“ᵈᵒᶰ'ᵗ ᶜʳʸ ᵇᵉᶜᵃᵘˢᵉ ᶤᵗ'ˢ ᵒᵛᵉʳ˒ ˢᵐᶤˡᵉ ᵇᵉᶜᵃᵘˢᵉ ᶤᵗ ʰᵃᵖᵖᵉᶰᵉᵈˑ”

“Hello there, my name is Angelina, it's a great pleasure to meet you.” - Where should we start? Angelina is such a innocent and elegant name for a young lady, yet indeed this fae suits her name. Angelina was chosen by her mother, Sapphire. She loved that name since from a young age, she loved the sounding to it. The meaning behind her name is 'Angel, or Messenger'. Angelina has a few nicknames, the easiest one being Angel, she likes to be called Lina as well, she remembers well when she was a pup, her mother used to call her Bird, but unfortunately she doesn't let anyone else call her that besides her mother. Currently, Angelina is three years old, born in Summer on July the tenth to be exact, she's more of a summer pup, she loves when it's hot rather than cold, even if she has a long pelt to protect her from the cold harsh Winter time, she would much prefer to run around the field full of flowers instead of snow.

        a sneak peak of you
“ᵗʰᵒˢᵉ ʷʰᵒ ᵐᶤᶰᵈ ᵈᵒᶰ'ᵗ ᵐᵃᵗᵗᵉʳ˒ ᵃᶰᵈ ᵗʰᵒˢᵉ ʷʰᵒ ᵐᵃᵗᵗᵉʳ ᵈᵒᶰ'ᵗ ᵐᶤᶰᵈˑ”

“I'm a pure-bred Australian Shepherd, a mixed colored coat and baby blue eyes.” - Starting from her muzzle, she has a rich golden color, making it's way and blending in her coat with the dark blue merle and other shades of light blue, if you look closely, there's a bit of a pattern, her coat containing some white that easily blend in with the other colors that are on her fur. Angelina's fur is quite long, soft and silky but could get easily dirty from the amount of times she runs and rolls in the grass. She has a wet black nose and some good set of sharp fangs, using to cut through meat and other hard flesh. Next up we have her eyes, beautiful shades of light baby blue to a dark ocean blue, following by a mixture of a chocolate brown that is located just in her left eye, Angelina always loved her eyes, she says that those are the best features about her. Going down to her paws, they are pure white, just splitting from her fur colors. Then her tail, it isn't so big, but it's a decent size. Angelina weights normally, luckily for her so does a lot of running so she doesn't put to much weight on, also, she does eat well, but not to much. The fae is quite tall, thanks to her skinny paws, but just good for her weight.

darling, how to you see yourself?
“ˡᶤᵛᵉ ˡᶤᶠᵉ ᶠᵒʳ ᵗʰᵉ ᵐᵒᵐᵉᶰᵗ˒ ᵇᵉᶜᵃᵘˢᵉ ᵉᵛᵉʳʸᵗʰᶤᶰᵍ ᵉˡˢᵉ ᶤˢ ᵘᶰᶜᵉʳᵗᵃᶤᶰˑ”

“I don't really know to be honest! Please do let me know.” - Angelina is everything you would need in a friend, but she isn't perfect, she has her own flaws too.

Protective;; As much as shy she is, surprisingly Angel is really protective, not just of her belongings, but also of the ones that are very close to her, she would do anything to save her pups if they are in danger and wouldn't back down if a fight is occurred, being the second in command in her pack, she got that rank for a reason, she isn't going to let her kindness take the best of her when she's in a serious situation, she would stand tall and protect what she truly thinks needs to be protected, she don't let her good nature fool you!
Shy;; Yes, Angelina is quite shy, in fact, she does get nervous around the brutes she likes, she would be less talkative and more thinking, her tail will be wagging and there is going to be a small sparkle in her blue eyes. Angel is more of a listening type more than talking. She would sit down for hours and let her friends rant to her about their awful day or something that's bothering them, she would never judge the ones that are close to her, she isn't that type of person. Angelina is understanding, she wouldn't much ask why and she doesn't take no for a answer, she is always going to be here if you need someone's shoulder to cry on, she would gladly accept and listen and comfort you.
Friendly;; Angelina is very friendly, you would rarely catch her in a stressful or bad mood. Her tails always wagging, she always has a small smile on her face even if something's bothering her, she wants to make others around her feel nice, she isn't really aggressive and mean, but everyone has that side to them, but as i said before, she doesn't let it show as much. The fae is a bit of a goof ball if someone is grumpy, with her neat French accent she would make anyone feel better in her pack, she wants the best for everyone and she wants everyone to like her.
Motherly;; Angel is a big sucker for pups, she has a very soft spot for them in her heart, she loves them dearly and she couldn't wait until she has some of her own. In her free time, you would most likely see her spend time with the pups, being goofy just to make them laugh. Angelina has always been the 'Motherly' one, even with older dogs, she would mostly boss them around and tell them off if they done something bad.
Cheerful;; Again, you would rarely see her in a bad mood, that's because she doesn't want others to think that she's grumpy all of the time, but to be honest, she gets grumpy from time to time, that's why she spends time alone, she likes to recollect herself and calm down in a quiet environment, so she doesn't start any arguments with anyone, but Angelina has a decent side which what makes everyone like her, that's why you would mostly likely to see her jump around all smiley and happy. She is very carefree and outgoing, which makes a very good commander that a pack needs.
Helpful;; Indeed Angel likes to have a time by herself, she would mostly wander around the pack helping others, so doesn't be afraid to ask for her help, she likes the feeling of helping others, it makes her feel all warm and bubbly inside, so doesn't hesitate to ask her!

        is there someone special?
“ᶤ ᵈᵒᶰ'ᵗ ᵗʰᶤᶰᵏ ʸᵒᵘ ᶜᵃᶰ ᵈᵉᶠᶤᶰᵉ ˡᵒᵛᵉˑ”

“Hm.. to be honest, i haven't quite found that special someone just yet.” - Angelina isn't looking for a mate just yet, she hasn't even seen someone she likes just yet! Being the second in Command from her pack, Angelina isn't quite interested in love right now, but she hopes one day that she might find someone to help her with her troubles, to support and love her. Angel isn't quite picky on who she chooses, but he must have a decent heart and must be friendly, otherwise, Angelina is open for any brute that comes along and would gladly pick and mate when it's the right time.

"NO ONE KNOWS just how deep it goes."

Name: "Oh, hello. I almost didn't see you there... Oh, yes. That's right. My name is Piper. I'm afraid that I've never earned myself a nickname, not that I really mind. Piper is short enough, in my opinion. Ah, no, I don't really know what it means, either. I don't think my mother did, no. Honestly, she probably just liked the sound of it. Maybe I can give it a little meaning while it belongs to me."
Age: "I'm in the middle of my life and sit at the ripe age of five years old. There are some months and days thrown in there, but it's been a long time since I've known the exact day I was born. What I can tell you is that I was born in the fall."
Gender: "Well, I'm a female, actually."
Breed: "It's a hard thing to guess, I know. My breed is rare, and you don't see many of us around. I'm an Ibizan Hound, so named for the isle of Ibiza where we originate from. I'm the wire-haired version, not too much different from my smooth-coated cousins. We're sighthounds and use our eyes more than our noses to pick up on things in the world."
Pack: "I don't know that you could really call us a pack. I consider us a family, but to each their own. I think our own leader thinks of us as a gang. Who knows? Well, whichever you prefer, I'm a house dog. I like where I'm at, and while I could see where the street dogs are coming from, attacking us isn't going to solve anything."
Rank: "I wouldn't ever be able to hold much power within a pack, but that's okay with me. To me, it's just a relief that I was accepted into the group and am not considered banished. I'm a follower and am happy to be one."

"WE ARE OLD in your teenage tyranny,"

Description: Being an Ibizan Hound gives Piper quite the unique appearance. She has long, thin limbs that lead up to a skinny, fragile-looking frame with bones that show through her wiry pelt. Big ears sit atop a petite skull, accentuated by a elongated, narrow muzzle. She's tall but skinny, standing at twenty six inches and weighing in at fifty pounds when she's sopping wet. Piper is a mostly white dog with a few tan spots that break it up. Her ears are tan, and she has a few lighter spots - one on the left side of her forehead, one on her right side, one on her left shoulder, and one on the base of her tail. Her eyes are also ringed in the light tan. Piper's gaze is interesting. Her eyes are a greenish gray, but have spots of tan inside of them, as if the tan on her pelt leaked into her eyes. Her nose is also that same tan, as are her claws. Just one glance can tell you that this is a dog built more for speed than for fighting. After all, her breed is one that is used in racing and can sometimes be found beating out greyhounds, which are rumored to be the fastest dog. Piper's never put it to the test, but in her opinion, she could beat any dog in a race.

"AND ALL YOU NEED is a hunger to feed."

Personality: Piper is a rather reserved dog. Not shy, just reserved. She doesn't feel there's much to talk about with others, but if you give her something to talk about, then she'll stay by your side and hold a conversation. As opposed to most dogs, Piper doesn't mind sharing everything about her that she knows. She realizes that no one is perfect and no one comes from a perfect background, and if her sharing will help you to realize that as well, then she's done something good with her life.

Piper is a very intelligent dog and can often figure out what you mean before you know what you do. As a human, she'd make an excellent counselor, and does what she can to help those around her. She's soft spoken and listens much better than she talks. She's always there when someone needs a shoulder to lean on and will do her best to solve the problems you greet her with. She'd give up anything to be able to help one dog, and in this way is selfless, giving up her time and thoughts to provide for another.

"I'VE GOT my own secrets, though,"

Past: There's not much of a story here. Piper was born to a breeder, but was quickly bought by a young couple who wanted a dog with a friendly disposition and loved the look of Ibizans. They had another dog in their family, and Piper became friends with the female, and the two would romp and play together. She spent her first year in this dream of a life, loving every minute she was with her family and not really missing the parents she had left behind.

Her friend died when she was two, but that was okay, because it taught Piper that death was imminent. She had died of old age and had given Piper warning of what was going to happen. Still, the young female was surprised when they took the aging dog to the vet and she didn't come back. After that, she was bred to another Ibizan and produced two puppies that were sold to different families. Her life has been a calm one with few bumps along the way.

"WITH A HEART full of mess and lore."

Mother: "My mother's name was Jewel."
Father: "I never knew him, but my mother called him Sarge."
Siblings: "I had one brother, named Radar. I'm not sure where he is now."
Mate: "I had a mate once. Tanner was his name, but he's long gone now."
Crush: "Haha. Not right now, no."
Puppies: "I had two of them, actually, but they were adopted out. I named my daughter Fox and my son Coyote. Not very unique, but they were mine."

BEAUREGARD

▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔

Image

"WHEN YOUR DREAMS ALL FAIL and the ones we hail"

Name: "Ugh. Quit with the niceties, and let's get down to business. My name is Beauregard. Pssh. Yeah, I know what it means. My father named me because I had my mother's eyes. Beauregard means 'beautiful gaze.' Kinda ironic, huh? If you're feeling like it's too tough to say, fine. Call me Beau. But that's all you get Beauregard or Beau. Nothing else."
Age: "Keeping track of years gone by seems foolish, but I do it for this reason. Everyone always asks your age. Seems stupid to me, but whatever. I'm three years, seven months, and two weeks old. Happy now?"
Gender: "Can't you tell a male from a female? Clearly not... Well, I'm a male, brute, sir, gentleman, guy, fellow, whatever word you wish to pin on me. That means I'm stronger, faster, and smarter than half of the dogs you can find."
Breed: "I'm a purebred mutt. My mother was a mutt, so was my father. If I had to guess, I'd say there was a bit of golden retriever in me. Maybe some Collie. Lab? Maybe some Husky, too. Just take the common street dogs and pool them together, and you've got what I am."
Pack: "I'm certainly no house dog."
Rank: "Ah, I'm a follower, but I plan to change that soon. I'm better than a simple follower and could hold my own against most other dogs. I just have to prove that to our leader."

"ARE THE WORST OF ALL, and the blood runs stale.."

Description: Beauregard is a mix of a lot of different things, and nothing can really be placed in him. He's just a dog. And a big dog, at that. Somewhere along the lines, a big dog (his mom always hinted at a mating with a great pyrenees) got in the mix, shooting the height and weight up, because Beau's shoulder sits thirty inches above the ground, and all of that fur, muscle, and bone tips the scales at one hundred and ten pounds. Beau is blonde, an interesting color for a dog, but not too unusual. His coloring can be found most often in the lightest versions of golden retrievers, another breed rumored to be in his ancestry. The blonde quickly fades to white upon reaching his belly, neck, and extremities. Even the lower half of his tail didn't escape. This is a fluffy dog, too, and things always seem to catch onto his fur and hitch a ride until he pulls them free. The most noticeable thing about Beau is that he's missing an eye. One deep brown eyes stands out on his face, but where the other should be is a patched over scar. Another scar sits just below that on his muzzle. Stare at this deformity, and you might just get a show of what Beau is really made of.

"I WANNA HIDE THE TRUTH. i wanna shelter you,"

Disposition: Beau tries to be a nice guy. He really does. In those first six months of his life, he listened to everything his mother said and took it to heart, but the moment that brick was thrown, everything changed for him and he realized how foolishly she had lived her life. And ever since then, it's those lessons that have been reinforced. Still, he tries to keep to the niceness and manners his mother set up for him. Unfortunately, anger comes out so much easier than it used to. Everything springs him to act out, whether a dog is staring at his missing eye, berating him, or putting up an argument. Beau's fall back is anger, because he doesn't know how to be anything different.

There are days that the male just seems to give up. On these days, he can be found lying somewhere off away from the pack. It's hard to get him to move and even harder to get him to do anything. These are the days that the fight has left him and the memories of his previous life come back to haunt him. He feels like life has run him over and kicked him to the curb, like the car did to his mother. To Beau, that man ruined him, leaving him with one eye and a heart full of anger, instead of love, like his mother was trying to teach him. Now he thinks the dogs with love on their minds are weak and useless, though his mind is still very capable of being changed.

To others, Beau might seem rough around the edges with a vengeance out for any house dog. (He does enjoy fighting with them and often takes his anger out on the other pack, because he thinks their ignorance keeps them with the humans). In truth, he can be a bit intimidating when he really gets going, because of his large size and the fact that it's rather difficult to return him to his calm self. But really, Beau is trying to live life with those nightmares still in his mind, and when they kick up, he reacts negatively, either giving in to life and giving up, or retaliating against others around him when they get too close and snarling and snapping. The times in between are the best to approach Beau, because he can seem kindhearted and caring, if you catch him at the right moment.

"BUT WITH THE BEAST INSIDE, there's nowhere we can hide.."

History: Everyone has their story, and Beauregard is no different. It's just a little harder to get out of him. Both of his parents were strays, though both had once lived with humans. At the mention of puppies, Beau's father fled in fear, not ready to face such a heavy responsibility. So, she was left to her own devices with six puppies in her care, but she never could let go of her lost love. She pined for him day and night, and while she did her best for her puppies, she was often vacant and not there. In Beau's short time with her, she enforced how to be a gentleman around different dogs and drilled manners into her offspring, despite the circumstances. She also went on to tell them how important it was to find a human family.

At six months old, Beau watched his mother cross a street in an attempt to get to a large dog on the other side of it, thinking that it was her old mate, Rover. In her desperation to get to him, she didn't see the truck bearing down on her. Before anyone could say anything, it hit her, taking her by the head and flinging her body through the air before it came down with a sickening thud. Beau turned and fled, terrified of what had just happened while the memory of it repeated endlessly in his mind. A man found him curled under his porch, shivering and shaking and covered in filth. He took him in and cleaned him up, keeping him and placing the name Dune on him.

Beau thought that this was the end. He had found a human home and would always be cared for, like his mother had always said, and so, when the beatings first began, Beau took them. That stench of alcohol began to tell him when it was going to happen, and he always tried to hide, but most of the time, he couldn't get away in time. There would always be apologies from him afterwards and plenty of hugs and pets, and Beau would curl up beside him on his bed and drift off to sleep. At least he was getting fed, watered, and had some affection from him, and that's what his mother said he would get.

One day, everything changed. The man became even more enraged than usual and picked up a brick and chucked it at Beau. Unsuspecting and being only one year of age, Beau didn't realize that the thing would be so heavy and didn't have time to get away from it. It hit him square on the head, splitting his eye in two and leaving a deep gash in his muzzle. Beau didn't give his owner anymore chances. The male would snarl and snap anytime he got near, and Beau realized how foolish his mother had been. If this was love, love was foolish. He would never lie to himself about it again. After two weeks, the man left the gate open, and Beau ran off, eye swollen and oozing. He was picked up again by the pound, and his eye was removed and cleaned up. His next family came around, and he dug his way out of the backyard, knowing now that his life was going to be one of the streets.

"DON'T WANT TO LET YOU DOWN, but i am hell bound."

Mother: "Her name was Esmerelda, and what a weak little thing she was!"
Father: "Mom called him Rover, but he didn't stick around to see what he had made."
Siblings: "There were six of us growing up. Perhaps you've met one? Let's see... There was Remington, Elanor, Jonah, Maya, and Felix. Yeah, Maya was always the best to be around. I don't miss any of them but her."
Mate: "Oh, there have been a few females, but love is lost on me."
Crush: "Never have I had a crush."
Puppies: "None that I know of."

[@talin; that's just fine. your accepted once beauregard is finished.
@everyone; we will be starting today. i will also be getting a territory page set up, and a weather page. i will also be making a couple more characters.;

for the house dogs, just start off at your house, getting ready to leave or something. your humans are going to town, or they are still sleeping, going on a camping trip ect. it shouldn't be hard to make a good two paragraphs outta that.

for the strays, start off in the junk yard. waking up, getting some food, rummaging through stuff, talking to everyone. one paragraph will be acceptable for this one, because you don't have as much to work with.

as for weather, it is really cloudy and occasionally sprinkling. the humidity is at, 87% and there is a 64% chance of thunder storms. it is also 85 degrees outside. plus the humidity, makes it feel like 90.
