Crescent sat down and looked around. It was alright. Then she remembered, what rank was she. "Thunder!" she called, walking into the fighters den.
(Are ranks earned or given? And If given what would she be?)

Thunder looked up. "What now, Crescent?" He asked, lifting his head up.

"What rank am I?" she said, sitting down on the dirt ground.

"Fighter." Thunder said, looking away from her.

Crescent smiled. At least one good thing came out of this. She stood up and got out of the fighters den, she dident really want to hang out there. She sat under a dead tree and looked out at the dry land forest and land. It was awfully dry for winter.
(It is winter, right?)

[ yeah but snow comes in the last few weeks ]

Thunder watched her leave. He shrugged and curled up into a ball.

Crescent huffed in boredom and turned to look at the Fighters den. She got up and creeped closer to it, and quietly making her way down It. She sat down In the far back dark cold corner and watched Thunder sleep or whatever he was doing. Her fur blended in with the shadow, so all you could see was two hazel eyes.

Iris smiled and rubbed against him "I can tell you are as happy as I am" she chirped then returned to pulling leaves. Once she got enough she sat down "I don't know whether or not this choice Blaze made will drive the pack to the ground or raise it higher then it ever has been" she looked at the sky "maybe an omen will tell us..."

"One or the other." He said softly. His eyes were misty and far away. It was obvious that he was thinking about something a lot. He wasn't ready to reveal his plans. Not even sure if he would follow through with them. In all honesty, he wanted nothing more than to break away from the pack. To have his own where he did not have to follow the commands of an alpha he believed to be inept. The wolves did not yet know that the long dormant volcano was beginning to wake up again, even with their animal senses as it was far too soon. But when it did, he would probably stay behind. Either as a loner or with whomever chose to stay with him. It would be a rough life and the wolves wouldn't be pretty; scarred from the fires, grey from the ashes, and thin from the lack of food. But they would be tough as grit and with no other creatures to challenge them they would rule the fiery lands. Dark, but strong. So very strong.
