As comfortable as she was in Inferno's little cave, she was worried. She stood up and walked out of the entrance. She couldn't see Inferno anywhere. He wouldn't mind if she wandered for a bit? She wasn't his mare after all. She walked around for a bit, leaving large hoof prints so she would be able to find her way back.

A blizzard was brewing. Ghost could feel it in his bones. He was used to this weather, having been born and raised not far from here. It didn't bother him at all. His cream coat blended into the snow, giving him an exceptional advantage over other stallions. He was able to bear down on someone before they had even noticed, and other horses stuck out against the winter landscape like a sore thumb.

A mare caught his senses. With a low nicker, he moved forwards towards her. His trot became extended, and he arched his neck, revealing the masculine musculature only stallions can hold. His greeting was a long, low snort, and a grumble that seemed to emanate from deep within, as he approached the mare who had appeared in the snow.

The cremello mare squinted through the snow to see the figure of a stallion who was approaching her slowly. She pinned her ears and watched as he came closer. He didn't look like one of the stallions who had snaked her brutally all those months ago, but she held no trust in his gaze nonetheless. She held her head high and watched him with cautious blue eyes.

Jewel She dipped her head politly to the stallion named broken. She looked at the other stallion, lucky and smiled "my name is jewel, its nice to met you" she repeated to him. She noticed that the snow was starting to pile up even higher on the ground than it was before. She could tell that it was going to be one of the harsher winters this year.

Lucky took back a step, and bowed his head in respect. "It's a honour on my side, Jewel," the young stallion replied. After a while, he looked up, and saw Broken and Harmony leaving. He nodded slightly as Harmony wished him to find mares for his herd. Lucky had scented her heat, although he made his hooves dig into the ground hard enough to stop him. Lucky scratched his head back towards Jewel. "Sooo... harsh Winters, eh? Have someone to protect you?" He asked.

Ghost then saw a mare who matched himself in hue standing before him. An unusual sight in the depths of this wilderness to see one of his coat colour, let alone two. Letting out a high pitch squeal, he halted in front of the mare, nostrils flared to their full extent.
"A bit of a time to be out here alone, isn't it?" he questioned the mare, his blue eyes watching her cautiously. "Maybe you should come with me."

She snorted and pawed at the ground, her ears still pinned back. "Maybe you should back off and mind your own business" she retorted, flicking her creamy coloured tail. Besides, she wasn't alone. Inferno was out here too and now was really not a brilliant time for him to be preoccupied, even if she wasn't his mare anyway.

Ghost's ears wrenched back then. His eyes hardening he moved further still towards her. showing his strength he pushed towards her, his neck snaking out to snap his teeth in warning but not connecting. His tail swished in annoyance. He intensely disliked a mare who didn't do as she was told. He half reared, completing his display of power.

She took a step back, her nostrils flaring and her eyes narrowed at the stallion. A show pony huh? She took a few more steps back, fighting her urge to take a snap at him. Any stallion who thought he could push a mare around was automatically an enemy to the lithe young mare. She held her head high and showed no fear of the stallion.

[list]I rose my head up slightly and smiled at the two. Happy that they were kind and not aggressive, I took a small step forward towards them saying, "Hello, I'm Zaria." I noticed him staring at me and looked towards the mare who seemed to be overly happy. Being put in the spot light I felt a little bashful, though not at all wanting to get out of it as I hadn't had attention since my last herd. "Who are you two," I ask wondering why they were so close to this secluded valley.[/list

"Well, my name is Northen Lights at Fully Daytime, but just call me Night" he said and looked at his sister. She looked a bit weird, mabye because they hadn't been around other horses in a while.

Scarlet Roaring Daybreak

She smiled and waited for her turn.
"Nice name Zaria, my names' Scarlet Roaring Daybreak, but known as Scarlet. I'm Nights sister" she said and nodded as she smiled.
Only the sound of a mares voice was calming to the ears and she sighed.
"What are you doing here alone?"

Voi sighed as he yawned loudly and lifted his body up to stand.
He stretched his feets and looked at the other sleeping horses, sighing again. "Opal... Opal! Wake up!" he said and tickled Opal with his muzzle on his shoulder.
Opal grinned and giggled as he slowly opened his eyes and yawned.
"Good morning Voi, *yawn* is it day already?" he asked and looked out of the cave at all the snow laying around them.
The air was cold and they struggeled to find food.
Tabio was snoring as he layed beside Opal and mumbled in his sleep.
Casanova was already up and came walking into the cave with some moss in his mounth.
"I pfound some fmoss" he said with a mounthful of it and Voi giggled as Casanova talked funny.
"Fwhat?" Opal laughed and rolled over at his back and bumped into Tabio.

Sunshine looked over her shoulder as she heard the whinnies of a few stallions. Flicking an ear, she couldn't decide if she should walk over or if she should let one of the stallions find her. Finally choosing the latter, Sunny continued to pull up the short grass shoots and swished her long blonde tail, giving away her position with a clatter of movement.
