Adolphis Tips had caught a rabbit but his hunger was not fulfilled. It wasnt hunger for food, but for company, for a home. Adolphis was alone and he felt shut out from the world. Soon, the wolf decided he would call. He leaned back on his haunches and let out a long loud howl. A howl of sorrow and calling. A howl for a home.

The black wolf had eaten and she lay in her temporary den. She suddenly heard snarling and barking. There must be a pack nearby. She pricked her ears as she heard a howl of another lone wolf. Gracia let out a long, loud howl.
