Destiny watched the thoughts cross in Dante's eyes and noticed how his body reacted to her words. She could almost see his inner turmoil fighting and discussing options in his mind. She trusted his feedback and knew anything said by the brute would be in the best mind for the pack.
Destiny almost opened her mouth to tell Dante not to worry about confirming her idea however he had already begun to speak. She listened, almost surprised by his words. She didn't expect him to fully agree and his un-trust of the Redmoon Alpha. She nodded as he discussed his concern for the Alpha and Beta. Destiny paused to listen to his words before resuming her pace and catching back up. As Dante mentioned losing her and not being able to control himself after. Destiny touched her nose to her friend's shoulder, offering a small nuzzle of comfort. Affection wasn’t part of her and Dante’s friendship, however sometimes it would be needed to show her care for her friend. Her eyes lingered on Dante for a moment before returning to the forest before them. She knew his heart remained heavy from Weiss and she was Dante’s family, his reason. And now she was gone and still felt fresh. Destiny nodded “ I’m not going anywhere Dante “ she murmured before she could add more Dante had already responded. The pain of what he was saying struck her. Sadness and a bit of anger creeping into her as Dante spoke about Liberty messing with Dante’s mind and healing. She had to wonder - did the other alpha do that on purpose to cause a rise from him. Shaking her head from the idea she listened to Dante’s next words.
As they padded beside one another Destiny pressed against Dante softly seeing his sadness. Hearing Weiss would be proud of her had brought a small smile to her face. Destiny nodded again before responding “I think of her mindset daily Dante. How peaceful things would be. If we would be better off had peace been made in the past” she commented her nose twitching with the stronger smells of the camp- . Meaning they were close to camp. With another small smile Destiny added “ Dante, she would be proud of you too. Look how far you’ve come since her passing. How determined and dedicated you are. I know she watches over you and is proud of you” her sentence ended and almost like a switch had flipped when she saw they had approached Ruby. She was back into Alpha mode.
Straightening her posture Destiny gave a signaled nod to Dante “meet you at my den shortly? she confirmed in a question although she knew the answer. Hearing the voice of Ruby. Destiny turned her gaze to the ginger pelted wolf “oh, hello Ruby” she greeted.

Blaze trailed behind Gauge and ShyFawn, watching them close. He didn’t think the newly omega would try anything stupid but - you could never be too sure. His eyes flicked from the wolves in front of him to the surroundings of the forest. Brought back to his reality by the time they reached the group eating the meal. It looked like an excellent hunt which was worth celebrating.
His ears flicked at ShyFawn’s words. Blaze almost laughed but instead shook his head “were you not paying attention to liberty’s orders?” He asked with a small chuckle. “you’re not going to be eating today. If you even consider joining the pack in a celebratory meal you’ll be on the ground before you can take a step.” he warned darkly , his eyes casting over the wolf.
Blaze looked at Gauge for a moment [i] “I’ll watch him while you eat” [/i] he offered to the she-wolf. Blaze figured he could eat later or find something left over in the remains left from the pack. He wasn’t starved and could miss a meal for the sake of his pack enjoying the rest. Besides, he needed to keep a close eye on the traitor.

River watched Milo's demeanor lighten up and she couldn't help but smile more to herself, she enjoyed watching wolves be able to open up and to just enjoy the day. She wondered why all wolves weren't as bubbly as she was. There was more to life than just pack work and stupid rivals. River's ears flicked hearing the response from Jessie , she resisted the urge to break out into a sprint so she continued their pace. Besides the day was beautiful and they were almost there. The prey and the pack celebrating the hunt had come into view and River was pleased to see more of the pack had gathered.
She shifted her gaze to look at her new friend - yes friend. She had decided they were friends. And listened to his response. She nodded "I see. Did you find anything interesting?" she questioned. Part of her thought a day or two like that could be exciting. She didn't know much of what lied beyond pack borders - besides the other pack "Are you going again soon?" she asked as they grew closer to the pack. She could hear their faint conversations growing in volume.

The darker ears and darker tipped tail moved a bit.
She heard the sound of another howl, River, and nodded her head a bit. She then scolded herself, as of course River couldn't see her. She howled back to let her know she'd heard her. She then waited for the other she wolf to come back, and whoever else was with her.

Deep foresty green eyes with gold ringing the pupils looked to Blaze. The white foot black phase she wolf quickly looked ahead again. She hummed a small, wolf sound as she walked. She flicked her tail and twitched her ears a couple times. As they got closer to the others, she could smell it. They'd taken down a buck, and she knew it must be a good one. Once they actually arrived, she saw it was indeed a nice buck. She nodded her head to herself, a bit. She'd told Shy Fawn he wasn't eating...but she let Blaze reiterate that fact. She nodded her head along to what he'd said. She nearly smiled as he said he'd take Shy Fawn down if he even tried...She glanced to the others, saying "This is a really good catch."

She then turned her attention back to her crush. She smiled as she said "Thank you," then wondered if she should tell him how much she likes him. This wasn't the time...or she didn't think so, as she needed to eat. She sighed and shook her head. She said "I um...would like to hang out with you a bit, later, whenever." She said this to Blaze, then quickly looked away. She moved to the buck, tearing off a few bites. She ate those, then tore off a bit more and ate it.

The black-phase wolf looked over as he noticed a wolf from the corner of his eye. It was just Hutten, who'd been speaking to him earlier...He sighed and shook his head a couple times. She seemed to be on a mission, for...something, so he decided not to bother her.

He watched the one pup step back into her father and look apologetic. Louie told her she wasn't in trouble, and he smiled at this. When Scythe said she didn't think Kairo was in camp, he growled a bit. Why hadn't she listened to what he'd said? Rolling his eyes, he turned to Louie and said "Don't go anywhere. He probably got back ahead of them...You can look for him here, if you really want." He then looked over to Luroyuki, seeing Kairo and saying "He's right there."

The soft and sweet, shy and nervous one twitched his ears. The smaller and slender black phase wolf sighed and pawed the ground a bit. The white toed and jawed one flicked his white tipped tail. The golden eyed one then looked to Kairo. He sighed but sat down, placing the rabbits. He kept them near him so the others wouldn't try to take them. He didn't really think they would, though. He then looked to the pup, and asked "What's wrong...you seem angry...what's wrong?"

The pretty but handsome smaller and slender golden pup sighed. Brown ears twitched as the brown tipped tail flicked. Brown and blue eyes now looked to Kuroyuki. He said "Dante is being mean...and saying Eros was never part of our pack." He put his ears back and growled a bit after saying so. He then flicked his tail and curled it around his paws. He sighed and pawed at it a bit. He then looked to the dark furred adult, and waited to see what he'd say.

Ruby nodded, her gaze grim. She was a senior so she had a right, but she had to be careful still. "So are we going to attack those fools or are we just going to sit and wait for them to attack us first?"

Destiny’s words were taken in by his ears but he felt the weight of them land on his heart, her kind gestures were a larger comfort than he could have admitted, as Destiny assured him she wouldn’t go any where the brute felt that hard to believe his mind was already drawing conclusions about what the future may truly hold. When destiny continued, without his interruption , he felt the script turn back around on him when Destiny stayed Weiss would be just as proud of him for who is now just as he said she would be of Destiny. Though her words were kind and they filled him with some hope of perhaps he was but he couldn’t help but come to realize that cant be true because his actions at the border would be a little bit of evidence against it. He’d betrayed her memory by allowing her loss to turn him bitter and his heart cold to love. Weiss would have never wanted that for him surely but without her help how was he to heal? What a ridiculous notion she’s gone and couldn’t help. He thought heavily his brows burrowing for a moment as he trotted along. The only wolf who could assist him with his healing was truly himself he had to deal with these demons he allowed to have control over his heart and feelings.

In response to her affectionate gestures he silently returned them the way he had received them feeling unsure he even should but he knew it took a monumental amount of energy to consult some one when they are down and he just wanted to be sure Destiny understood his appreciation for her taking care of this situation with him while other much more important matters were at hand which he would be able to return to fairly soon once he gathered him self. Truthfully hadn’t Ruby not walked up the brute probably would have embraced Destiny in some sort of wolfish hug but the like minded elder made her presence know by asking a question that Dante actually liked. At least some one else saw that the Redmoon pack needed to be eradicated not made peace with. He noticed his Alpha’s change back to her regal respect demanding demeanor then dipped his head kindly seeing that he’d been dismissed in a kind way. “Finally some one who agrees with me..” he murmured under his breath in response to ruby then responded to his Alpha’s dismissal.

“Yes Destiny I will be there. Take your time, I will organize a hunt in the meantime.” At this point he walked away with a shake of his pelt and head to remove the thoughts of his Weiss behind so he could concentrate on organizing a hunting expedition. When he bursted through the foliage that covered the entrance to their small hidden camp. He didn’t see the children immediately but he was sure they were in camp some where he needed to speak with Kairo one more time today before he sought out the loneliness of his mind later. The brute trotted to the center of camp, looked around for the hunters, then decided it was best he howl for them to set them to task. With a sigh he looked down at his paws then recovered his breath lifting his muzzle to the afternoon sky and let out a despair filled call to the hunters. It was a song full of mournful words that beckoned his pack mates who were hunters to join him in camp on Destiny’s orders. The brute understood if other were busy with children as they were numerous in numbers.

He’d make it through another day of this life some how. Now is his chance to move on and change the way he’s chosen to live for so long he’s had the strength inside to do it all along. But, there are parts of his personality that had changed so dramatically that it would be impossible for certain parts of him to be the way it was 21/2 years ago. Wouldn’t it be funny to see the wolves around him shocked if he were to smile instead of being sullen every where his ebony paws dragged him to.

Liberty & Eros

Before he answered his Beta’s inquiries, which were justified Liberty had been brief with his words, the brute turned around then trotted to the rescue of the ebony pup who was trying to claim more than he could carry of the bushel of berries yet Eros was grinning nearly ear to ear exclaiming his satisfaction with the loot that was bestowed upon him. A half smile was on Liberty’s face as he leaned his head down to snap the twig of berries in two with his teeth. One side being still too large and the other big enough for the boy to carry and enjoy later. “You don’t need them all boy..” he stated softly after having lightened the pups load.
“Can you walk more quickly now?” He asked while watching Eros lift the berries.

Eros - “Mhm Yes much faster now!” His words were greatly mumbled by the berry covered twig he carried but it seemed Liberty was able to understand him and they departed once again, Eros walked between Nova and Liberty tossing his head side to side happily while slobbering a bit. “I think I can already hunt the big ones miss Nova! See how carried that!” His voice grumbled sounding wet with slobber.


Liberty - “All in due time..” he said in response to Nova’s jape offering her a smile while Eros spoke. Now, With Eros managed Liberty continued to walk side by side with Nova prepared to answer her specific questions while occasionally keeping an eye on the slobbering pup. Coming from Lead fighter to an Alpha position provided him with obstacles that he struggled to over come some days admittedly no one is perfect but he couldn’t slip to far or perhaps what he did to Forrest would happen to him. “Hm, Questionable only because I don’t know if I should trust her yet…I am of the understanding we have made peace permanently. But I want to be prepared for the chance this peace treaty ends when the last snowflake falls. “ he stated gravely his tone foreshadowing something like a small fear of early betrayal or worse an organized ambush so even though peace had just been made and it may seem odd to still think of Starlight as the enemies but Liberty didn’t. He was already considering every scenario of how this could play out and what to do should it. He managed his pace just well enough to make sure Eros could keep up.

“Yes, for now we are still hunting on our grounds everything will remain the same for the time being. Destiny and I discussed having hunting parties work in tandem to provide for both packs. So yes, Hopefully sometime soon we may share meals and work on pack relations to reduce conflict. Border crossing freely will still not be allowed by any wolf in this pack for some time..“ he did suddenly realize border crossing was not something he had brushed over but how? It was so simple and was partially the subject matter of today’s conflict. His mind swelled with scorning thoughts wishing he’d had his beta with him before like Destiny had hers. “Destiny and I planned on speaking again here in a couple days once both packs have heard the news to further discuss other things I may have not covered in that surprise meeting.” He stated firmly. He was curious what Nova would add or take away from his statement but he chose not to ask this time he figured it was understood he needed her opinion if he had missed anything else of great note that could be covered later. The prospect of combining the packs didn’t appeal to Liberty at the moment he preferred if Destiny’s gaggle of wolves stayed on their side and Liberty was sure his wolves wouldn’t argue about staying out here. The only goal for this surprise meetings was to reduce conflict and introduce the prospect of peace which was accepted quickly. Slowly introducing the members to encourage peace while working together in hunting squads was going to be very difficult and he hadn’t come up with an idea to solve that problem but it was on a need to solve basis right now before it was to late.

All this critical thinking, problem solving, and brain storming was really starting to mentally exhaust the wolf. Today was just talk after talk and it didn’t seem like it was going to end. Later was a chat with Blaze, then explain to Eros why he was in trouble, consult his lead Hunter Castor, and assign a lead fighter. Fitting a wolf to an empty rank such as lead fighter was no easy task since the position was previously empty the prospect for the position and the Alpha must have a sparring match until The prospect gives up, or The Alpha decided they are worthy, or perhaps by some chance they pin and defeat the Alpha they will be rewarded the title of Lead fighter.

"Oh, well...we think he was blind, or deaf, or...had some problem like that. There wasn't a herd, just him. There's no reason a healthy buck would be alone... they'd have females and offspring." She then looked to the buck as well. She ripped off a couple chunks and held them out to Labrador, wanting to be polite.

He heard the despair filled howl and sighed a bit. He dropped one of the rabbits, saying "You can have this." He then ran over to Dante with the other rabbit. "I um...got this for you...or Destiny, if you think she should eat it." He dropped it at the paws of the other male. He tried not to get nervous and act stupid...as he now sat and waited for the other hunters.

The white muzzled shadowy one giggled a bit. They then squeaked and scolded them self for giggling, shaking their head. They hummed a small, canine sound, and nodded to him. They quickly picked up the two fish, and spoke around them. "I...id like that a lot, and I definitely have to go on another patrol at some point." They didn't obviously know the alphas had made a peace agreement. They wouldn't know until told. They felt warm, and smiled at the hunter.

He nosed him back a bit, then sighed a second time. He nodded to the other, saying "I know he was actually a Starlight wolf...It doesn't matter whether his parent or parents were loners." He shook his head, and heard the howl too. He grumbled a bit and ripped into the rabbit, watching Kuroyuki head off.

Cypher looked up from his place in the shadows at the sound of Dante's call for the hunters. He stretched out and padded over quietly, watching as the hunters followed suit. As Lead Hunter he took responsibility for the other hunters, which he didn't mind. He found his dark pelt helped him hide better, but it was horrible in the hot weather, with the sun shining above. He glanced at the nearly identical male beside him and tilted his head, wondering once more if they could be long lost twins or something. Sitting on his haunches he waited for Dante to speak, silent as a mouse.

He perked his ears as he could hear a faint howl of Dante echoing to the distance, the way of their camp. He knew that he could and Elle could be needed there, but he was not sure if he could leave the she-wolf alone with those Red Moon wolves. Speaking of that he was very aware of the group of Red Moon wolves having prey near the woods around the meadow, so he hoped that Elle could not do anything stupid now.

He smiled at the warrior "Of course..." he responded to them as he heard a howl of Dante "I guess Dante needs us now...can you carry the fishes back to camp, I will take the beaver" he said to them with a flick of his tail. He looked at the warrior and the fishes "You know that carrying them on their tail fin makes the carrying easier...just saying" he said to them with a smile as he too the beaver.

She looked over to Kikui, she didn't show any emotions in her gaze, but she felt like the elder was stamping on her foot, and for a moment she felt like a stupid as maybe she didn't notice the Kairo to get back. Maybe the pup used the hidden passage if there was some in the camp, if there was she maybe could need to find it and close it. She didn't say anything just followed the two pups to see if they were going to the nursery, her eyes looked at Kairo, giving the pup a very angry yet disappointed look "Kairo...you and the other two are in arrest now, go to the nursery immediately and stay there" she called out for him.

She run toward the nursery, giving Kairo a sweet smile as she get past the male pup, she didn't want to anger her mother to stop talking with the other pup, instead, she got herself into the nursery, without saying a word to anyone. As she got to the nursery she heard her mother's words to Kairo, and now she only needed to wait for the male pup to arrive at the nursery as well.

Cypher sighed and grumbled a bit, wondering where the others were. " Dante." He said, dipping his head respectfully before letting out his own howl to hurry up his pack mates. It was a bit stiff as if he was annoyed, which was kind of the case... He knew he had to be patient but still... It had been long enough since he had called for them, especially on a cry that desperate. Huffing a bit he scratched the ground, flicking his ears. Mikage, Hakuren, and Kuroyuki usually responded quickly, or so he thought. He didn't see any of them around, and just barely caught their scent. Shaking his head he waited, knowing he'd be in trouble if they didn't show soon. Sometimes he wondered why he became Lead Hunter.

She said this to Blaze, then quickly looked away. She moved to the buck, tearing off a few bites. She ate those, then tore off a bit more and ate it.

"I um...got this for you...or Destiny, if you think she should eat it." He dropped it at the paws of the other male. He tried not to get nervous and act stupid...as he now sat and waited for the other hunters.
