Protect the farm V.2 ~Always Accepting~

Cherokee (Rocky)
Rocky saw the man move his hand closer. Rocky growled out of aggression and fear and crouched. To him a hand could mean anything. He wanted to bite it but he didn't think the outcome would be worth it. He then heard howling, it confused him so he focused back on the man.

(I got a bit of writers block with this one)

(I'll let this exchange end before I get Lexi to chase dogs up to get to the meeting. Take your time though cause it could be days before some people reply.)

Aiden
He lowered his hand. "Well, it was worth a shot." Aiden suddenly realised that he had promised to go do the shopping down in the village that day. But he couldn't possibly leave the dog alone and it seemed that everyone had enough of their own work to do. He looked around, searching for a solution and spotted Zoey not too far away. She wasn't his dog, but he knew that she was one of the best-tempered dogs on the farm. Aiden whistled at her through his fingers and she came bounding over, her tail wagging. "Hey girl, guard him for me please." He said, patting her head. Then, turning to Rocky, he promised, "I'll be back as soon as I can." With that he walked off at a swift pace.

Zoey
"But.." she objected as Aiden walked off. She had to get to the meeting, but how was she supposed to do that now ? She turned to the new dog, "Hey, I'm Zoey and you're going to have to come with me because I have to be somewhere and I can't leave you alone."

Cherokee (Rocky)
Rocky's tail almost went in between his legs when the person whistled. This sound didn't mean too many good things to him. Rocky saw the other dog coming over and calmed down a little bit. "Cherokee but Rockys easier to say." He looked at the other dog, "don't get on my bad side or there be nothing left of you." He listened a bit more, "and I ain't need anyone to watch me, trust me being alone is all I need."

(Gtg to bed)

Zoey
Zoey raised a brow at his threat, "Okay, first off, that wasn't a question, you should come because otherwise you're going to get me in a load of trouble. Secondly, you obviously don't have a clue about how things are run here. We don't threaten each other. If you attack me, you won't get anything out of it,just the fact that no one will even want to talk to you. I'm no threat to you. I don't know where you lived until now, but here we have different rules. And if you keep to them, your life will be amazing." She certainly didn't like being threatened and she wasn't easily scared, especially not by another dog. "Now come on, I need to get to that meeting."

Cherokee (Rocky)
Rocky waited until Zoey had finished. "You must be mistaken, that wasn't a threat darling, that was a warning." He waited a few moments before speaking again, "I can live without amazing." He slightly worried about the meeting she was talking about, "and best thing for you to do is to not take me to this meeting. I mean, if you don't want me attacking anyone. You see, I get snap instincts to fight. I can try to go against my instincts but I haven't done so in a long time."

Zoey
"Well, you're going to have to try because I have to be at the meeting and I also have to keep an eye on you and the only way to do both is to take you to the meeting. Let's go." She turned and started towards the barn at a graceful trot. After a few paces she stopped and turned back to look at him, "And don't call me darling."

Rocky found it amusing that his mockery had gotten to her. He ran after her, his trot not so graceful, more like an newborn trying to walk. He didn't bother to try and tell her that taking him was a bad idea, she had already been told. So at least if he attcked he'd have someone to blame. "So how many dogs are going to be there?" He asked with almost concern, the more dogs the harder it'd be to control his instincts.

(I don't know if I should wait for more people to respond or wait till Zoey gets there then start because we could be waiting a while if not.)
