Flix
Flix shook her head back and forth, chiding herself for being such a squirrel-brain under her breath. She paused when she realized how stupid she must look.
"That sounds great," she said, a little sheepishly. This dog had already saved her from the pound people, and now he was offering to hunt for her, too. Forgetting that she had saved him from the car in the first place, she blurted out, "I wish I was doing more to help us!" Then she blushed, realizing that her comment had made them sound like, well, a team, when in reality he could choose to abandon her at any point.

Dasher
The pup tilted his head to the side so that his ears dropped onto his eyes. As if he'd read her thoughts, he said "Don't worry, I won't leave you here in the middle of nowhere." He wouldn't leave a helpless dog in the middle of nowhere.
"There," He pointed his tail to a clearing near by. "There might be deer in that clearing. Be right back." He smiled and dashed into the trees after the sound of the swaying of grasses.

Flix
Flix glanced after him, wondering how he'd read her mind so easily. Was she really that... readable? She had always thought of herself as detached from the world.
Maybe I'm starting to change, she thought. But then again, how could she block herself off from this dog? He was so friendly and caring. While he was gone, she busied herself with cleaning the dirt and grime from her injured leg.

Dasher
The brute dashed into the trees, branches tugging at his coat, and squinted in the bright sunlight. He gazed over the tops of the chest-high grasses, flinging pointed stuck a with extra extensions attracted and fluffy tails sticking up. Deer! he squealed in his mind and crept through the grass without a care in the world.
The mule deer raised his head from where he grazed in the grass and let out a startled bleat, sending him running in the opposite direction while the others gawked at his beauty. A fawn pranced carelessly towards the dog, and he kept for it. A loud snap! and it stopped struggling in the brute' s jaws.
- lol auto correct wanted to change "pranced" to oranges. XD-

~pranced to oranges, huh? XD Sounds like the typical auto correct error. Mine always wants to change "well" to "we'll". -.-~
Flix
Flix's ears flicked upwards as she heard an animal, most likely a buck deer from the sound of it, cry out in brief shock. She caught the
snap of delicate bones breaking. Dasher must have been successful in hunting-- maybe he had caught a fawn. Her tail wagged as she caught the faint, but unmistakable scent of fresh-killed prey.

Dasher
The brute watched his tail, or what ever he had if a tail, excitedly as he dragged the fawn into the trees. He caught the sight of movement, possibly Flix wagging her tail as well, when he entered the trees. They leaned over him, and when the brute looked down into the green eyes of the fawn held in his jaws, the fire that does out slowly pricked his eyes with tears.
He shook then away and hurried over to Flix, throwing the fawn gingerly onto the ground in front of her. "How's that's for beginner's luck?" He smirked.

-Off to bed now, I'll have to answer that tomorrow TuT-
-EDIT: K here's my reply-
Flix
Flix yapped in admiration.
"Wow!" she said enthusiastically.
"That's incredible!" The fawn, although young, was easily large enough to feed both dogs. The fresh scents wafting up from the prey made her mouth water, but she waited respectfully for Dasher to take the first bite.

Flix
"Thanks to you for sharing," she replied gratefully. Crouching down, she took a bite of the tender young meat. It had a pleasantly chewy texture and a unique, savory, melt-in-the-mouth taste-- entirely different from the dry, tasteless "kibbles" she had been fed all her life.
~Lol don't worry about it, I'm used to waiting. One of my friends on Scratch took 2 weeks to answer on a RP... then I took 3 to reply XD~
