Cotton sat in the sunshine, smiling. All of a sudden, Smoke threw mud onto her face and side. "UUUGGGHHH!!!" Cotton yelled, and chased her brother. "SMOKE I'M GONNA KILL YOU!!!" she screamed like a crazy woman. She tried to bite Smoke's tail but Smoke dodged every time. Celestia stood in front of them to stop them. "Cotton, Smoke, stop fighting." she said calmly but warningly.

"No, no, no, you don't understand! Yes it will be a bit harder but we could never leave you like that. You might end up playing.with the pups more than us. We will all ways love you, my sweet boy." She nuzzled the young pup.

Dawn padded out of the cave with an expression of boredom on her face. Her best friend or brother was with her mom and her other brother didn't play what she liked to play.

Cotton washed the mud off herself and shook the water off. She sat in the sunlight because she believed her fur would turn lighter if she got in the sunshine more.
