"I suppose that is a good thing..." Dyson said, watching on. He grimaced as Alita flopped back down, pressing down on her muzzle with her paws. He waited a few moments, then looked away, eyes closed. "I can't watch any more of this... This is supposed to be Starris, but now, watching my only daughter suffering, I may as well be in Solis." He continued. Dyson let out a heavy sigh, and opened his eyes, switching his gaze from Sariel's to Cypress's. "Is there a main camp everyone stays at here?"

Sariel dipped her head. She shifted forward to dab a paw into the pool, and the image of the young she-wolf dissipated. "There is no one camp, it would be expanding every day, we have not dozens, not hundreds, but THOUSANDS of wolves all in the same place. Some wolves have solo dens. Some wolves band into small groups and build their own dens. I personally have stayed away from many of the wolves. It’s all up to preference. What of yourself? Would you prefer to den alone, or band with some other wolves?" She asked.

"I see... I will wait by myself, until Alita comes home." He decided. "I do have some... questions, though. If you wouldn't mind me asking any."


OOC: Would he remember anything except for dying then coming to Starris? Like the period of time where he was neither in Starris or Solis, but dead? I don't want him to say or remember anything that goes against the lore XD

OOC: Basically, immediately upon death, a spirit goes to Starris or Solis. There isn’t really a middle ground since that’d cause a whole other mix of complications I’d have to sort out. If he was with Solis for a while though and they sent him away, he might not remember much. Starris is supposed to wipe away the evil.

"Of course. You must have a great many questions. Here." Sariel nudged the rabbit she'd caught towards him. "Eat while you ask your questions and get some answers. Perhaps it’ll help you rest more easy." The black and white she-wolf settled herself on the cool grass. "Any questions you have, I can answer, or if I cannot, I know one of the oldest wolves here who will be able to, if he can be found."

OCTAVIA, RAIN

A wave of sadness had hit Octavia again, but a part of her secretly knew what Max's fate was. She heavily sighed and sat down, her eyes on Rain for a moment. "Is there... Is there any way to go see him? To... at least visit him before he dies? Or maybe visit him in Solis?" she asked.

Rain chased after the pups, her paws kicking up the grass slightly as she ran. "What do you wanna play?" she asked.

Dyson nodded, dipping his head in thanks. He opened his mouth to start, but then paused.
"Do we... have to eat here in Starris?" He asked, looking at the rabbit curiously. Although his voice sounded content, his concern and sorrow for his daughter were still all to evident in his eyes. Dyson had fooled many many wolves over the years, and knew how to do it flawlessly. But that was his old life. He was in Starris now. A place where everyone got along. There would be no need to fool anyone here...

Cobalt's gaze grew sad, and the look in his dark blue eyes shifted, almost as if he were no longer entirely there. A way to visit Max before his death was looking incredibly unlikely. They’d have to wait until next full-moon for a sure visit.

"I...don’t think he'll last another few days, much less another few weeks for full-moon. I can’t guarantee it’ll work, but tonight...if you wish, I can teach you to dreamwalk, to try and appear to him in his sleep," He offered. He’d had minimal luck reaching out to Max, but he would try if she so wished to learn.

Anna fell still for a moment. There were plenty of games, but truthfully, her favourite was a very basic one. One even the newborn Pups could play. But then...she'd hardly been more than a newborn at the time of her own death, so perhaps that was in some way to be expected, or at least acceptable.

"How about...roughhouse!?" So speaking, the greyish white she-wolf pounced towards Rain, amber eyes shining brightly.

"Do we HAVE to?" Sariel shook her head. "No. Once you’re dead, you can’t die again. You can fall ill if you don’t eat, but you will not die. Many of us eat out of instinct, or simply for the enjoyment of the taste," she explained. "Up here, every bit of prey we’ve caught comes back as well, and just respawns elsewhere after a kill. We will never run short."

Her expression was soft. Sometimes it was hard for the newcomers. She remembered her own utter disbelief when she’d fallen in her battle and woken up there.

"Interesting..." He said, starting to pick at the rabbit carefully. "I suppose we should get started. The first question I have, is how do we visit our live family? Do we just... appear there, or do we need to physically go there ourselves?"

"Well, every full-moon, we can go see our loved ones. We stand in the meadow and envision their faces. This only works when the moon is full though. Trust me, I’ve tried other times. The only other way, and it’s supposedly incredibly difficult to do, is to dreamwalk. To appear in the dreams of our loved ones. I don’t know how to do this, try as I might. Very few wolves have ever actually achieved this. I envy the ones that do. I’d love to see my son more often."

Sariel inclined her head. She’d tried. A number of times, to no avail. She wished she could offer to teach him, but how could she, when she herself had tried and failed so many times?

Octavia

Octavia's eyes focussed on something in the distance and she appeared to be deep in thought. "There was so much that I wanted to say to him before I died. I didn't even get to say goodbye to him, and the fact that I might not get to say anything to him to ease his heart breaks mine" she sighed heavily, the far off look in her eyes disappearing as she returned her gaze to Cobalt. "I'd really appreciate that" she replied to Cobalt, her ears pricking up slightly at the mention of dream walking.

Rain

Rain peered intensely at Anna, waiting to see what game she could come up with. When she said 'Roughhouse', Rain instantly perked up at the sound of the game. "Yes, let's play that! How do you play?" she asked excitedly, her voice squeaking. She hadn't played many 'games' with her brothers, she didn't have that much time on Earth.
