Rocky noticed a person, he turned to see a male coming towards him. Rocky backed up a bit and growled, this person was new, the last new people he met abused him. How did he know this one was any different.

Aiden
He noticed the dog's growl and stopped his advance, stretching out his hand slightly instead. "It's alright boy. I won't hurt you." He smiled. Suddenly an idea struck him and the young man pulled a dog biscuit from his pocket, offering it to the obviously hungry dog. Aiden's movements were calm and slow so that he wouldnt seem as a threat.

Rocky noticed the man stop, he had understood his growling. When the man reached into his pocket Rocky was on edge, he knew from experience that anything could appear. But instead of something terrifying like Rocky had imagined it was a dog treat. Wanting to bite the outstretched hand but wanting the food in front of him, Rocky had a small battle with himself. He'd leave the hand for now, food was better. He quickly took the biscuit, eating rather quickly. He hadn't had a dog treat in a long time, after switching homes he was lucky if he got anything. He then heard a chicken, it was a different sound, he hadn't heard one too often. He turned his head to see what had made the noise and there was a chicken, just like he had expected. Rocky turned back, he had left his guard down slightly, he didn't want to make that mistake again.

Aiden
"Good boy." Aiden smiled, standing up. "There's more in the barn, come on if you want some." He turned around and walked off towards the large building, not looking back, hoping that the dog would follow at least out of curiosity if nothing else. It was obvious that the poor guy had been mistreated and Aiden didn't blame him for not trusting other humans. On his way to the barn he passed Tris who wagged her tail excitedly when he patted her head and scratched her behind the ears.

Tris licked Aiden's hand and then turned when she caught the scent of another dog, a dog she had never seen before. "Hey." She smiled, cocking her head to the side curiously as she watched Rocky.

Rocky watched the male stand up and walk away. He decided to follow him, at a reasonable distance. As he started to walk forwards another dog came into view. She ran straight up to the human exited as ever, well he must be somewhat kind if another dog is so happy around him. Then the dog talked to him. He instantly growled, feeling on the edge of an attack. "What." He grumbled, slowing his speed.

Tris
"Calm down, I'm not a threat. You're new, aren't you ?" Tris said sitting down on the soft grass. "I'm Tris, by the way." The Irish setter introduced herself, her body relaxed to show that she wasn't about to attack anyone. Her gaze was curious and kind since she didn't consider Rocky to be a threat either.

Aiden
Aiden smiled when he saw the two dogs getting to know each other and he decided to go get the food and let Tris handle the situation for a while. He reached the doors of the barn at a swift pace, entered, and headed straight towards the stash of dog food in one corner. He pulled out a bowl and filled it up with dog food. He then took it back outside for the pit bull.

Rocky waited until Tris had finished talking, "last time I checked everything is a threat..and I didn't get along with other dogs." He stood there debating if attacking was his best option right now. Then the male came back, he was holding something. Rocky stood on edge, first another dog and now a foren metal object. Then when it was place he calmed - it was only a dog bowl. He wasn't sure if he should eat, he had a human and dog around him. But he didn't want the other dog taking his food. So he stood, unsure of what to do.

Tris
"Rude." Tris observed, but she didnt sound too offended. When Aiden came back with the bowl of food, she knew very well that it wasnt for her, but she looked up at the human, wandering if he had something for her too.

Aiden
He laughed when he saw Tris' wistful look and fished out a dog treat from the pocket of his coat. Aiden gave it to her, stroking her long brown fur. Tris ate the treat happily before standing up and with a wag of her tail towards Aiden she got ready to leave. "Yeah youre right, get back to guarding." He smiled, watching as the dog left before turning back to Rocky. "Go ahead, you look hungry. No need to be worried, the dogs here wont hurt you." He said in a calm, soothing voice.

Rocky heard the male speak. He hadn't been spoken to in a long time and now he barely understood what the male meant. Tris was gone so he decided to eat. He ate the food quickly, it was gone straight away. He looked up at the person, he wasn't worth attacking, he gave him food.

"Good boy." Aiden smiled with amusement as he watched Rocky wolf down the food. He made sure not to make any sudden movements so that he wouldnt spook the dog. "Someone has been making your life pretty rough, huh ?" My voice and look turns serious as I look him over.
