Vesper scowled as Cody ran off after that nice fae. Star was it? Everyone's running off these days, she thought bitterly. She had perhaps thought this would be a nice opportunity to make friends and allies, but obviously it was time to get rid of some old ones too. As she wandered off, thinking of maybe taking a dip in the stream and glaring murderously at the dreary clouds, she lifted her paw and brought it down hard. It just happened she had stomped in anger on a rock. She drew in her breath sharply and bit her tongue, trying not to yowl as she hobbled with new vigor towards the stream, hoping to douse her paw in the cold water.

Sauver glanced around, confused. Hadn't he just been talking to someone? No, they were gone. The corners of his mouth turned down and he wondered if he should just eat a rabbit then hibernate in his den for... the next three, maybe four months.

Fuir had been tracking the scent of the doe for at least half an hour now. His stomach complained as he lifted his head and glanced around. He wasn't sure where he was, only that there was a strong smell of wolves now. How had he not noticed that before? He bowed his head to the ground, ready to continue, when someone burst through the undergrowth.

Hailstorm noticed Vesper stumbling to the water. She sat up straighter and sighed with a shake of his head. Was the moon going to be full tonight or something? He glanced up at the sky as if in a plea for help. Where was Dusk anyway? Wasn't this supposed to be a doubly led pack? Hailstorm felt like he was leading it by himself, even though he hadn't even done anything yet. Subconsciously he took the responsibility on himself, and wasn't sure he could handle it.

Bronte looked at him, " No I am not ok! This was all a horrible idea joining packs!" She said and walked away.

Cody flattened his ears. He didnt want to deal with this anymore.

Howler looked at her, " Well, two days ago i would say thats stupid and you would die...." He smiled, " But now If you leave om going with you."

Cody looked at Star, " What?" he tried to keep his tone calm but there was an edge to it.

Rosie looked at Storm, " You seem stressed. You should go rest, Im sure the pack will do just fine for a couple of hours." She remarked and walked off into the woods.

Bronte felt lost and confused, she was sure joining packs was a good idea..But...

Vesper floundered into the stream, rubbing her sore paw over the smooth pebbles of the creek bed. The weak current tugged at her fur and she sighed. The water was cold, but not cold enough to penetrate her wooly fur.

Sauver started, surprised at Mekah's sudden appearance. He laughed wearily. "I'm just hungry," he admitted. "And tired. And just a little miserable, but that's alright. You okay?" He grinned casually.
