I growled with frustration, but stopped. ''I'll be back'' I promised as I ran from the pound and headed off down the streets.

Cece looked to him with confusion "Hurry!" she barked

I covered ground like a racehorse would, I knew exactly who I had to get. Panting, I stopped short of an alleyway, almost missing the turning. I walked cautiously down it, alert at every sound. I spun round when I heard a snarl coming from behind, I barked slightly, letting Stella know why I was here.

I watched Stella's every move as she emerged from the shadows and circled me. ''Not good to be sniffing round humans'' she said as she came to a stop in front of me. ''Fine, I'll help'' she finally said once I had explained what had happened. ''Lead the way'' she ordered as we ran towards the pound.

Cece barked and growled at the humans as they shouted to shut up. She finally saw Brucer and barked

I locked eyes with Cece, but stopped short of my path when we finally reached the pound entrance, I looked for a way to get her out of here whilst Stella dealed with the humans. I watched the fearless Doberman as she launched herself at the humans skittling them over as she barked and snapped in their faces. I seized my chance, I tore across the polished floor and ran towards Cece.
